Top speeds from Monza, by the way (those that I remember and no draft, of course):

Civic: 243km/h
Mazda: 244km/h
Scirocco: 251km/h

Don't remember looking at the Ford's, but it's somewhere in the region of Civic and Mazda.

I saw Sakery nudge 152mph, about 245kph?

Well, at least the Scirocco isn't too fast to draft AFAIK.

This evening I'm gonna test my illegal BMW with the engine tuning stage 3 around Monza and see what sort of improvements that makes 👍

Didn't get round to it chaps, day off tomorrow will try to do it in the morning :)

Done it, not overly satisfied....

I did a 2.00.030 after 13 laps, that's on top of the 29 I did in the test on Tuesday, so with 2 differently spec'd cars and 32 laps thats the time I did, way down the competive order, and without tooting my own trumpet probably more than most that have tested.

With stage 3 engine tuning on the BMW all it does is improve power out of the corners by a smidge, my top speed of 150mph doesn't change.

Again and rightly Furi let's wait till after tomorrow's test at a more technical track where hopefully things will be close but I am quite concerned, im almost certain that VW will have to be pegged back, the 1.57 Lanc did is a bridge too far, Monza or not.

Just my 2 cents :)

From a bias point of view yes I think the BMW needs engine stage 3, and maybe the sports ECU for Monza (I haven't tested with that on the car)

I had a ton of draft on that 1:57.5. You may be familiar with that situation. :sly:

Oh I didn't think anyone did a time with draft :p. My bad, but I stand by my point 👍

Do I have permission to run tomorrow's test with an engine stage 3 BMW, Furi?

Sure. As long as you have the legal one so we can measure its performance.

To be honest, I think it would help to denote a "base-car" that has medium performance on both fast and twisty tracks, and then tweak all other cars performances as close as possible to that base-car. Cars allowed advantage in top-speed only if bad in corners, etc...

I'm afraid we have a sort of 2-class society as it stands. The cars that were slower in my Cape Ring testing were also slower in our test at Monza. Just by more...

I'm not attending, might be busy that day. ;)

I know why ;)

Currently in middle of updating and speccing cars on my new game save, and updating tech sheets fixing any errors.
