Here I am, on the Nordschlife with time change, testing my Viper. Aproaching the turn that looks like the carrousell almost before the main straight, a very strange blue, translucent, humanoid figure appears "dancing" on the road. At the begining, it was something that looked like a broken LCD screen, so I start to panic, thinking that my good old Bravia died on me. But the strange thing is that the "thing" was there in the track, and I passed next to it. So I thought it was a glitch with the light effects and shadows. A friend came to my house, and we raced one another on the same track. Well, the same thing happened, and the strange thing appeared first on top(as I was wining), and then below when my friend reached the same spot. Now I´m freaked! Could it be the ghost of a dead driver that got too overconfident in the ring? Anyone has seen this?

Sorry. Maybe I got too inspired with the explaining. The thing is that there is something wierd on the Nordschlife, probably something wrong with the lighting effects. I will take a photo tomorrow. One more thing... I feel embarrassed for asking this, but how do you post your pictures from photomode?

Editing: I just found the name of the section. Its in the Schwalbenschwanz area. The funny thing is that there is one driver that died there, his name is Wolfgang Offermann. I know this thread is nonesense, but as some of you are posting, it would be interesting if PD programed something as crazy as a dead driver.

Can you take photo of it in photomode?

He's not a troll. It happened to me before and it's weird. It comes and goes and it's blue. Idk WTF it is either.

Man, you can't see ghosts on photo!

Film and digital cameras can't record them. Everybody knows this.

I've seen this, I think it's just a reflection or a glitch.

Pictures please.

I think I've seen this before.

It happens on Nurb time change, not sure about the normal Nurb but I think its just the headlights reflecting off the guardrail.

well, lot of drivers have given their life to Green Hell... maybe their spirit lives on within GT5's world. :dopey:

perhaps there is a story of a ghost in that area in real life and PD decided to program it in...

That would be the most awesome thing ever done in a videogame if it were true.

I'm sitting in that turn right now and don't see anything, but its daytime in the course, so i'm waiting till night, we'll see....

I suddenly have the urge to drive out there to see this for myself...

Ok i'm at the turn, its night, I don't see anything...

I am dissapoint.

Bump, i'm trying to reproduce this and can't.

I'm on nurbring day/night/weather change in practice mode in a standard model.

Amidoinitright?

I laughed hard at the MJ picture. And picture, please! :p

I've raced Nordschieffe dozens of times as it's my favorite track and have never seen what you're talking about.

I don't know why but I also tried finding this - without any success... Photo please

Yeah I saw this too. An area on the track where my headlights were illuminating, it was black/bluish instead of bright. Like the colors were inverted.

Maybe a glitch, maybe an easter egg? who knows.

I'm not claiming anything until we see pics.

But are you suggesting the ghost of a deceased driver used its' Supernatural Stuff, to program itself into GT5?

That i'd like to see. Maybe he'd freak out if we showed him the X1! 💡
