Nurburgring goes supernatural

It's a demon of a thousand dead drivers who want to take your soul and make you race on nurb in a Fiat for all eternity.

Same sunset issues happen in PC games, First Person Shooters.... interesting that the same problem persists in an apparently completely different architecture...

Makes sense what people say about the light coming through the track. I've not seen this blue splotch ingame but I've had the ground disappear on me. It happens online on the 24hr layout.

Its like the car is flying and you can see odd jagged landscape beneath.

It is a lost soul of a man who tried to find a perfect line through the Caracciola-Karousel (unsure of spelling) but he never found it.

It happens on the dusk stages of one of the Rally special events in the snow too, but with less weird results...you can be driving up a hill and see the sun glowing through the hill, then when you get to the top there it is on the horizon.

Invert (color wise) the picture, you'll see why it's a common issue.

I must say I have have on a number of occasions seen a car appearing to be on the main Karousel ahead of me when I approach it only to find that the actual car in front is too far away to have actually been there. I suspect there may be some graphical glitches just because of the sheer complexity of the circuit.

Y'know the Delorean? I hear some guy got it up to 88mph on there.

But seriously, what happens if it's raining, and what about other corners?

That is on the normal "short" 'Ring in daylight mode. It only ever seems to happen at that corner and has happened a number of times. It is on the "overtaking" processions and I think I am closer to the car in front than I actually am.

I think this happened to me on Circuit de la sarthe just before the corner before mulsanne straight. It looks like a mirage of water just dark blue.
I thought it was just a glitch so i looked at it from the other side and it was still there, moving, waving back and forth. It was on time change just as the sun set

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. oh what!

I thought this was normal, the blue is like what happens when you point a video camera at the sun, once I was filming and a blue shadow appeared at the bottom of the screen.

-> This thread gave me the creeps and a laugh AT THE SAME TIME! Good one people!
