Funny thing is that back in the late seventies and early eighties, with the then current state of ground effect development, the F1 car was closer to that type of speed that we realize. If the tech from then were coupled with today's electronics and processing power, I would not be surprised that (with autopilot and a paid up life insurance policy) that lap time might be able to be approached. Seriously, it would have to be a driverless drone of an automobile. Watch the accelerometer at the bottom of the screen. Internal organs would probably not work all that well after that lap. Wonder what the actual lateral acceleration measured around the Karrousel?
