Hey guys, first of all I'd like to say, I did search for a similar thread but everything was all about what's "best" or fastest. That's not what I'm after.

I just want to find some cars that are a pure pleasure to drive in stock form. I've found myself getting a little bored with gt5 lately (this is not a flaming or complaint thread, I love the game, don't turn this into one of those threads) and I just want some recommendations of some fun cars to do laps in. Since this is a pure opinion related thread, I'll lay some guidelines of what I'm after:

1- Nothing that understeers noticeably.
2- Nothing mind-numbingly slow. (Midget, Prius, etc...)
3- I love me some power slides :D

Some of my current favorites are the 458 Italia, the m3 gtr, nsx type r, and 908 HDi. Hopefully that gives you guys some idea of what my style is :sly:

My goal here is just to help myself and others find some other cars to enjoy that we may have never have thought to try, please keep it friendly, thanks :D

Honda integra type r(dc2) handles great keep it out of 1st gear round corners leave it in second let the torque pull ya back to speed

Ruf Yellowbird - takes a little practice to get decent times from it though

I love the Ruf RGT. Other favorite include the Acura NSX, and the Ferrari F40. Not necessarily the best cars, but I do love driving them :D

I'll give it a shot but I'm not a huge fan of FF cars, thanks :)

I have to agree with the RUF comments, I have the CTR, Yellow Bird and RGT, and I love them all. I'll try the F40, I'd been avoiding it because I didn't like it much in GT5p lol.

mercedes sls is very nice to drive. f430 scuderia is great, too.

use the nsx-r for drifting, it´s awesome to handle! :)

Yeah I might have to buy another SLS and leave it stock, I ruined mine w/ stage 3 engine/weight :nervous:

Already have the Scuderia and the nsx-r, love them both 👍

I don't like f40 don't stick to road as much as I thought it would ruf cars stick to the road like glue and sound great too

I agree for the SLS, it is really awesome if you put everything off and just drift it like a boss :D. Kill the tyres :)

Interesting that you say the RUF grip that well, mine tend to try and kill me at every press of the throttle, and usually leave me screaming like Clarkson, but it's why they're so much fun :sly:

Oh btw, I'm currently sitting on the 20 mil Cr. cap so money isnt an issue, don't let that affect your recommendations. No price on fun right?

Alright then I guess I'll have to pick up a new sls, thanks 👍

Awesome car, only 250.000 credits I think. You can also win it by probably golding the level 3 AMG Acadamy Challenge. Not sure though. You'll enjoy it.

have 3 of them :D one i bought, one i won and stealth model. i did weight reduction on the first one, too. i think its handling gets even better after weightloss, without losing the cars balance. that´s MY opionion, mby the car just fits my driving style.

I also love the Highend Performance G37. Felt a little caged in cockpit at first, but the car handles amazing and looks very cool.

Pretty sure it's only 150k, I'll definately pick one up, and that damn AMG academy won't let me have all gold :grumpy:

Thanks though 👍

Renaultsport Megane. Handles quite nicely stock but it does understeer, so i suggest fitting it with better tyres.

Alfa Romeo TZ2. 10,000,000cr in the dealership but it can be won in b-spec. Very fun car which easily outruns much more powerful cars on tight circuits.

Mini Cooper 1.3. Handles almost like a go-kart. Needs full modificatoins and tuning though to become competitive.

Whatever, if you've got 20 million credits you won't care about 100k, do you?
I compared it to the 'real life price' here and it costs here about 200-250k I think :(.

don´t worry, you´ll like driving the car, get used to it, and rock the amg academy :) also if you have two of them you can tune one and leave the other one stock ^^

Drove that TZ2 just for kicks online, was pleasantly suprised, great little car. Ill try the others, thanks :)

Ha, thanks. The SLS seems to be well liked so I'll definately get a stock one. I have one fully tuned and it's a good car but I'm trying to build a solid selection of stock cars for online and Top Gear tests and what not :sly:

I love my little Cateram Fireblade. It's really rewarding to drive once you can control the twitchy rear. Otherwise, I love driving either my Polo race car or the older Aspara RX-7

What? It's a stock car! :D

Nah the Lexus LFA is great fun to drive, and the Dodge Challenger is suprisingly good on the snow courses (not fast, just lots and lots of oversteery fun).
