As title says it all, I have seen many "Unregistered domain - go to imageshack.us to register" on many posts here. What happened? :indiff:

I thought it was just a minor glitch... The message still appears now.

Directly posting it using IMG tag won't work - you will see a frozen frog along with the message above. 👎

I hope Jordan read this fastly. :)
 
Apparently, it's not just happening to GTP - it also happens in other forums too.
 
This appears to be the result of a radical change in ImageShack's hotlinking policy. I've attempted to register GTPlanet's domain name with them, though I am not sure if this will resolve the issue here. My advice for now is to no longer use their service.
 
Or use flickr. ;)

That policy is very terrible actually. :grumpy: :yuck:

On other hand, they (ImageShack pictures) appears to working again: here

But rant: why threads in the MRS forum had icons? :confused:

That was just a misconfiguration in the the forum's settings. It didn't have anything to do with Imageshack.
 
Don't want to sound mean, but that's why I am not using Imageshack since years, they had similar problems with pics getting deleted etc. in the past already. They are bad, slow and unreliable.

Yeah, I just did (again). It's amazing a service as popular as ImageShack is this disorganized with the transition to their new service model.
 
Yep Just came here to Say the unregistered domain error is back.You don't have to register Gtplanet every 2 days or so do you Jordan ? :crazy: .
