Why do people always complain about the loading times in GT5?

If it's about loading the tracks, they load quite fast, takes no more than 30 seconds or so to load the entire Nürburgring 24 hour track and 16 cars. That's on a par with many modern games, even from completely different genres.

If it's the menu screen wait times, then I can agree. That's got to go.

We live in a "Microwave World" where everyone wants things faster...

i can accept the loading times. I'm a fairly chilled out patient kind of guy, but I have noticed in the last few days that loading times offline and online have increased quite substantially. I was online last night in the room lobby, changing my car took about 2 minutes to register! outrageous!

I have noticed as well recently that occasionally it hangs up for a while, seems to be in random spots.

Loading times in GT5 are fairly ok; menu navigation used to be a bit of a pain, but this has been patched recently. No - it's fine for me; there are other games with much longer and / or anoying loading times (e. g. reloading last save when you die in Duke Nukem.)

1.Menu screen times
2.ONLINE!!!!:ouch:

I hope when they make a GT game for the PS4, the PS4 is powerful enough to load tracks and cars quickly.

Think about how long it takes to load a game of call if duty you gotta wait 40 seconds in the lobby then the game loads, GT isn't too bad apart from menu

Loading times ain't too bad & for me, don't distract from the game but then I'm old enough to remember loading revs on the BBC b from a cassette or manic miner on a spectrum. That's long loading ;)

When last I ran a Nürburgring 24 hour race(with x5 time acceleration, thank you) in rFactor with 100+ cars, it took approximately half an hour for it to load, + a lap or so before it was running completely smooth. With that in mind, I don't have any problem waiting half a minute now and then. Of course, the menu loading is a bit excessive IMO as I said.

BTW that Nürburgring race >> anything GT5 has ever presented to me(and it's given some damn good fun).
