About the Championship
This is a 26 week championship. It is open to everyone, however, IHPRL members having first priority to participate. For each IHPRL event you participate in your points and participation are recorded here. The driver with the highest points average who meets minimum participation requirements is the Champion for that Season.

About the IHPRL
The IHPRL is a league for those who enjoy racing a variety of high performance cars; rally, GT300/500, GT4-GT1, Touring, LMPs, Historic, Supercars. You name it we race them! Our primary aim is the joy of clean racing, experiencing the variety of cars GT5 provides and the fun of pushing ourselves in challenging environments on challenging tracks. We provide weekly racing events that are single car in a grid up to sixteen; racing on three or more different tracks in one session. Join us! We are non-discriminatory. We are open to expert and novice drivers alike; and have already proven drivers of all skill level can race cleanly. We've only had three incidents in the twelve weeks of season I.

Membership
All events are always open to everyone. To join us simply post in this thread or send a PM to FishHunters and an invite will be sent to you.

Eligibility to be the Champion
To be eligible to win the championship you must participate in a minimum of 60% of the events over the 26 week period. The exact amount of participation will be posted below on a continual basis. It is based on the average participation of the eight drivers who have participated in the most races (half of a full grid). Each event is an event of 3-4 races. If the top eight participants have participated in an average of 25 races then the minimum number of races needed to qualify to be the Champion is 15.

Racing Events
To win an event you must participate in all of the races for that event. The Points System for each race is below. The winner of that event is the driver with the most total points. A link to each event will be posted in this thread. Events are generally one car - 3-4 races in one session.

Event Prize
The winner of each event will get the car of his/her choice from the NCD up to $500,000.

Championship Prizes
The top three finishers receive cars of their choice from the NCD.
1st Place – 3 cars up to $950,000
2nd Place – 2 cars up to $950,000
3rd Place – 1 car up to $950,000

Race Point System
We use the DTM scoring formula. The points for the top-eight positions are awarded according to the following system: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. There are neither void results nor extra points for pole positions or fastest race laps. There are multipliers for night, wet or night & wet races. The winner is the driver with the highest point total for all three races.

1st = 10 pts
2nd = 8
3rd = 6
4th = 5
5th = 4
6th = 3
7th = 2
8th = 1
Note: Pts for Night or Wet races count 1.25x.
Pts for Night and Wet races count 1.5x.
