PSN Down???

Hi and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this :)

Just got home and switched on my PS3. Then, a message with an error code 8002A548 came up and I can't sign in to PSN :(

Was a PSN maintenance scheduled for today???

Thanks in advance.
 
Here in Greece I get this message... "Connection to PlayStation Network has timed out"

Also the same and many friends of mine.
 
I've had issues all day. Asian server is not connecting. Not sure if it's the same thing affecting you guys though.

Just checked online, and in PSN Asia's website says:

2011.09.21 PlayStation® Network MaintenanceDate : 2011-09-20

Due to this maintenance, PlayStation®Home Log-in difficulty and the network error may occur, and purchasing the items at PlayStation®Home Shopping Mall or PlayStation® Store cannot be completed during this period.

<PSN Maintenance Period>
2011/09/21 09:00 ~ 2011/09/21 12:00&#65288;TBD&#65289;

We apologize for such an inconvenience and thank you very much for your understanding.
*This maintenance start and end schedule may be shifted without the new announcement.

Can anybody shed any light on this message :)
 
Same 'server timed out' message here in London.

My US account seems OK though.

And, why don't they give us the times in GMT?

TBD on the end of maintenance time? So they're not sure when it'll end then.

Same here, US account works fine but my UK account doesn't 👎

Also would like to see some GMT times :)
 
Mine was fine earlier this morning then went to the shops and came back and couldnt connect. Glad im not the only one just spent about an hour trying to get it to work chaging my connection settings but I wont bother anymore seems like it is a PSN problem and not my router. Im either getting it saying "The connection with Playstation@Network timed out" or the error code 8002A208

Last time it was hacked, when they took it down they said it was for maintenance for a few days.
Not saying it is no for maintenance, i am just saying there not very trustworthy.
 
same here, connection to ps3 has timed out. maintenence is not supposed to be until tonight between 10pm to 11pm est. in the U.S.
 
Sorry, i now have to post this to see how late the time is in GTPlanets time

EDIT: Seems like it happened around a hour ago.
Weird, didn't happened to me.
 
Down here too (ITA), can't log in (time out error) and on the website says "playstation network: offline". It was "partially available" 10 minutes ago.

EDIT - Again partially available now. Lol
 
US accounts are down now too. Just looked at the playstation forums and they have a "unscheduled maintenance" notice with no time as to when it will be up again.
