PSN Down???

it seems to be stable so i'm signing off GTP, going on GT cya guys good luck all ;)
 
I haven't tried yet (just got home), but my buddy bought a PS3 today and said it was down. This was at 4pm EST.
 
Welcome to the 5 months anniversary. Sony don't reminds us the outages.
 
couldn't get in. down loaded update then still couldn't get in
shut it off then on again, another update came up, 1.13, and now......

im IN!!

If it was hackers they would have shut down all of psn immediately. Nobody would have stayed signed in at all.
 
So is the PSN still down?

i got randomly kicked off PSN while i was hosting a room but im back on now after 2 trys
 
Myself and a half full room of friends all just got booted out of psn, most of us in U.S.
 
Works fine for me. Just signed on.
 
yeah me too, was in a private lobby and all of us got booted out of PSN
 
I tried to sign on earlier this evening (around 10-11pm EST) and couldn't get on. Checked my internet and everything was fine. Maybe it was just a hiccup with PSN this evening, it's happened before.
 
I still can't sign in properly. I've just logged on, but it took ages and I'm sure it'll disconnect me any second. :(

Happened to me too.
I know why they don't charge for this.
 
I can't even connect to the network now. Internet connection settings are all spot on, ports are opened, everything. Microsoft may charge for Live but at least it works!
 
Off again tonight 5pm to 7pm. UK time.

I know why it's free.

Its for the PSN Home update. Thats why the Network is going down.

Edit: You all should of seen this coming since its been on every website that hosts psn home that was going to get updated to 1.55 Thursday...

Its been updated already, I'm on 1.55 right now.
