Welcome to the World Street Car Championship!
As there is a noticeable lack of street car leagues, we have started one! Yay!

It will have a race weekend kind of thing.
Each round is made up of 2 races, each lasting around 30 minutes each.
In each race, drivers are required to make a mandatory pit-stop.
Qualifying will last 20 minutes, before race 1.
Race 2's starting position will be a reverse grid from race 1. (For a close competition)

Time:
Sunday 8:00 A.M. GMT+8
Saturday 7:00 P.M. EST

Next race:
Pre-season Race: Clubman Stage Route 5 | 30 Laps | Pit-Stop Mandatory

Restrictions and Regulations:
Traction Control System: Maximum of 5. (Off is encouraged)
ASM: OFF
ABS: 1
Skid Recovery Force: OFF
Active Steering: OFF
Driving Line: Allowed (Off is encouraged)

Power Limiter usage: Only up to 93%
Weight Ballast usage: Only up to 30kg (Unless weight is homologated)
(The above two restriction is made so that the cars will not have an advantage in a higher torque band by using power limiters, and also, to ensure a close competition.)

Points System:
The point system is based on the FIA GT3's system.
1st - 25 pt.
2nd - 18 pt.
3rd - 15 pt.
4th - 12 pt.
5th - 10 pt.
6th - 8 pt.
7th - 6 pt.
8th - 4 pt.
9th - 2 pt.
10th - 1pt.
>10th- 0pt.

Bonus points will also be awarded for the top 3 qualifying times:
1st - 6 pt.
2nd- 4 pt.
3rd- 3 pt.

Grip Reduction: Real
Penalties: None
Slipstream: Real

Weather (where applicable):
Surface Water: 0%
Weather Change probability: 5
Weather: Sunny

Rules (GTP OLR Rules)

A:
These rules are subject to change as there are constant updates/changes coming out for GT5, it is your responsibility to update yourself on the changes.
B:
All drivers are expected to make themselves familiar with the GTP online racing rules before entering any race or competition. If you stumble across a rule that is unclear to you, make sure you fully understand that rule before you enter the race or competition. You can post your questions in the therefore dedicated race thread on the GTP forum.
C:
You are expected to compete in a fair and honest manner. With fair and honest is meant according to the GTP online racing rules, not according to your own interpretation of fair and honest.
D:
You are expected to drive responsibly in a way that’s not likely to ruin the racing enjoyment of your fellow drivers.
E:
You are expected not to submit to bad general behaviour under all circumstances. That includes continuous blocking. If someone's faster than you, let them pass.
F:
You are not allowed to use abusive or offensive language (including but not limited to swearing) in any of the chat or voice facilities.
G:
You are expected to behave like sporting gentlemen at all times.
H:
The position of other drivers must always be respected.
I:
Aggressive driving is strictly prohibited.
J:
Cutting the chicanes or "shorting" the track at any point is strictly prohibited on all parts of the track, including the asphalt-areas in behind out-of track-lines. Track specific boundaries will be clarified in the Race Specifics section of any given event.
K:
If a driver wants to retire from a race, the driver concerned must not exit the race. The driver must find a position on the track where the driver will not endanger other drivers, park their car by pressing "start" and wait for the race to end. Keep in mind that your car may start to move when the start button is pressed. Place your car on a position where this movement won't cause any problems for drivers who are still racing.
L:
No careless driving. Always show respect for your fellow racers. Be careful. Show some patience. Understand the limitations of your car and yourself and drive accordingly. Driving online in a racing sim is NOT exactly the same as real life racing in every respect.
M:
If you are found guilty of any of these rules, the behaviour will be evaluated and penalty assessed by the Race Steward.

Running into the car ahead of you:

A:
The behind driver must take all necessary care and responsibility not to run into an ahead driver.
B:
In case you brake too late for a corner or partially lose control of your car, but can prevent an accident by steering into the dirt, grass or a wall, you are expected to do so.
C:
The ahead driver must not do any malicious or inappropriate braking or slowing. Leading cars MUST NOT EVER 'brake check' the car(s) behind them because they are following too closely. The ahead driver IS entitled to be slower or use longer and earlier braking zones than others. They are also entitled to turn in earlier or later and/or apex earlier or later.
D:
If there’s contact between drivers that results in the guilty driver making up places on the innocent driver, the guilty driver should immediately allow the innocent driver to pass freely to re-establish their position. This rule should be observed, even if it means the guilty driver has to allow drivers not involved in the incident to pass while waiting for the driver they contacted.
E:
If the appropriate contact concession is carried out by the guilty driver then they may avoid or reduce the severity of any penalties that might otherwise apply.
F:
If the appropriate contact concession is not carried out by the guilty party then the usual penalties would apply.
G:
If you have to slow down to let the other player through, move out of the racing line first before you slow down. Coming to a full stop is not allowed, just continue at a lower pace until the other driver passes you again.

Right. I have forgotten to include the weight limit.
It's no more lighter 1150kg.

Awesome!
Auntum Ring..MINI! 👍

Now, i've to test the car that suit me the best. :D

Updated the OP.
Still not done yet though.
Spread the word everyone! We're looking for new drivers!
Btw, if anyone's so kind to help me get the thumbnails for the Supra and the FT-86 G-Sports concept.

this is looking good.
👍

My car is a Nissan 370Z in Maple Orange.

And my PSN isn't "jus1029" but "jkty1029"!

Oops.
Good choice of car. :)

Two hours of test, finally got my desire driving style car.
I'll take my black Amuse S2000 R1 to the race. ;)

Alright.
I'm thinking of the clio. :o

Poll is up!
Vote on the times you prefer!

I will take the RX7 or Audi TTS if someone wants the RX7.
And also whoever wants a Clio I can send one over for free, got a spare sitting around.

Please vote for the time people!

I voted, in the meantime I'm gonna lock in the Lancer Evo.

Noted!
I nearly took the Lancer instead of my 1M, hehe!
What color is it?

Don't know why, but I have a feeling it's the Lancia. ;)

Oh yeah Zero the Z4M I mentioned previously has been sent for Homologation, sorry.
Slzk are the cars online?

Still can't said what it is, try it. :D
The car was 4 second off the pace from the fastest lap!
Guess it right and you'll win internet cookeh!

Anyway, i'm surprise nobody wants to go for the Camaro.

It's okay! ;)

Oh yeah. We have been thinking of taking a car out and leaving a space for the Z4M.

Let me guess again. The camaro? Haha! How does everyone's car feel?

Also, I think we should change the name as it may be misleading, to GTP Street Car Championship or World Street Car Championship. Any ideas? (Thanks ZEROX!)

Teeet! Wrong.
The Camaro are one of the fastest. Opps, i just spill it out. :p
Well, to each of their own. I've to say the Camaro suit me the most but i don't want to take any risk...so..

Btw, your welcome Slzk. ;)

Oh, yeah...that Toyota G-something...it weight about 900kg. Stock. So, i guess the ballast will be up until 1150kg which is more that 30kg ballast limits add on, right?

The Camaro is a cool car and prime candidate for a touring car,but everything about it is wrong.
They take an Australian Holden VE Commodore then make the visibility cock, turn it into an ergonomic mishmash, make it FAR less practical, have worse steering feel, less fun to drive and yet for all this it still weighs nearly 1.8 tons.I also prefer the Commodores clean discreet looks to the Camaros flash.

Ahh. I overlooked that one. Maybe we'll swap that with the Z4M.

Fastest in a straight line? I thought it would be the tough one to turn.
What tracks did you test on? I tested the lancer, silvia and 1M on Tsukuba. I could manage a 58s lap on Tsukuba with my current setup in my 1M
Wonder what your S2k will do, or what the camaro could do.

Nope, it also fast on corner....that if you tune it(the suspension part) right. :p

I test it on the Deep Forest Raceway since that are the most balance track of all on the race calendar. In my view...that is.

Since i'm using the DS3, i could do only 1:20:dunnowhattheimeis on my Amuse.
Guess i'll be testing in Tsukuba.

Hey, you use Sports soft tire right?

Nope...the practise mode.
Dang! I should have done it on online physics. :ouch:

More like it. Did you intend to use WSC or WSCC? :p

It's a little different. I find it that cars are tail-happier online.
I painted my 1M purple! :)

WSC, it sounds cooler than WSCC.:sly:
