Nothing special, really. I'm on a mac and I use a little photo app called HDRtist. It's nothing compared to what someone would be able to pull off in photoshop but it's super easy to use - drag & drop. The quality isn't bad for what it is, although I do end up with image artifacts sometimes with the HDR photos. If you're on a Mac it's an easy alternative!

The 4th pic is the best IMO.
