GT Academy cars supposed to unlock now?

When I clear each part it says I unlocked the car to use in GT5. I started up GT5 and don't have the cars. Am I missing something?
 
Nevermind. I see no one is able to get them. I assume there's an update for GT5 on the way that will interact with the GT Academy save and add these car's models to GT5.

On a side note, see how much nicer Nurb looks in this demo? I wonder if those changes will be added to GT5.

It's the 24 hour track with a different time of day applied. You could replicate it in the game pretty easily.
 
I can't figure out how to get the cars but earlier on i was in an online race at Nurburgring and someone was using a yellow Silvia GT Academy in it. How???

I noticed there there definitely seemed to be more detail in Eifel kart track. I got that impression while I was playing that all the tracks seemed a little more polished. Try noticing it next time you play the GT Academy. It could be that my eyes are playing tricks on me or it's that since there is not much more cars on at 1 time, they have set it to be native 1080p at 60fps????

I know GT5 is meant to be that way anyway, but it does slow down from time to time (anti aliasing, screen tear, under 60fps etc.) PD may of made it a higher polygon count I dunno?

I notice a difference anyway!

It was more likely to be the Silvia RM.

However, if you are correct, this suggests there is a 'method' that does not require an individual code.

But either way, I think you saw a Silvia RM. :)
 
No, I know the difference between a Silvia RM with a large rear wing and a number on it's side to a 'standard' roadcar with a GT Academy logo on the side.
 
Yes i should have but as i haven't got anal retention or a disbelieving nature i didn't bother, i just presumed they were available to use in the game! :ouch:

I'm sure they would have but hey, people get around things like when they released Spa circuit as DLC and a week or so before it became available someone found a way to use it and posted a video of themself doing a lap around it in a Ferrari F1 car - it was news on here. Now, if I was saying I've got it then fair enough, doubt me but when I'm saying I saw it in an online room, please - don't insult my intelligence by suggesting I've been seeing things, I'm not 7 years old and after an audience!

Nobody got "around" anything for Spa, someone was given an early unlock code by PD/Sony to play it early, Amar IIRC.

You will receive a car that you can use within the Gran Turismo 5 game. If you clear all rounds in Bronze or better, you'll receive a special race wear set that can be worn by your avatar in Gran Turismo 5. These will be accessible following the conclusion of the online qualification process!

I wonder if they simply gonna hand out a Leaf that was DLC material couple of month ago.
Honestly, I couldn't care less if they just gift it but I've seen enough scams @ PS store that nothing surprises me anymore. Some sort of GT-A Bundle. :ouch:

That sucks. WHat happens after you eat?
I don't think having anal retention and being anal-retentive are the same thing. At least I've never heard anyone actually say anal retention.

Ok, academy thing is also available in my country although we can not participate in actual competition.(will try it out later)
