Thanks JB, it'd be good if some of you chaps could come. Doesn't take a lot of practice, and it's a nice change of pace from V-spec. :)

So no tuning allowed then tyrrell? I might be up for this :)

Tuning is free within the limits of each car's specific parts menu as listed above, everything else about the car is original.

Kickoff is in over two weeks' time, so plenty of time to pick a motor. :)

Looks great!!

Sign me up tyrrel!

I'll go with the c4.

The issue for me it's the time of the first race but the second one it's almost certain. I hope you don't mind that.

Sounds great and you can count me in.
C4//Alfa//Peugeot

Maybe it changes but those 3 are already prepared and I will test those first :D

Mikel, well I'm flexible with time. If enough people are okay with a later start, we'll do that. :)

Sign me up. Can't say I'll make every Wednesday but I can make the first round for sure and a few others.👍

Alfa / Megane I reckon

I'm definitely interested, if you'll have me. I like the fact that you're using sports suspension only - makes tuning a lot easier for someone that can't tune to save his life! :sly:

And heavy damage should keep people in check. 👍

No idea when to test-drive these 13(!) cars though...

I may have to ditch another series in order to do this (dont wanna push my luck:scared:). Will see how the signs ups go Mr T but deffo interested mate.;)

+1 it all depends on who signs up

@ snow, would be good to have you in this. If you're not sure of a car, or just want something easy to drive, I can recommend either the Focus, Megane or Golf - you just can't go wrong with these.

@ JB, I wouldn't ask you to make any sacrifices - all I'd suggest to anyone at all is to think about what they'd have the most fun in. :)

Believe me, I'd be genuinely shocked if we had any racing incidents at all with these...

Thats not difficult to answer mate im 80% there anyway.;)

Hi tyrrell, I could totally do this. Have always liked racing with FF-cars.

I tried a few of the cars and couldn't get the Nissan MARCH to more than 168 BHP with the specs you have in the OP.

Please look into it, although I might use the Volvo only to defend the Swedish honor.

I just spent over an hour just buying and configuring these cars. I think there's two mistakes in the specs.

1) The Nissan has only 168bhp with the parts listed.
2) The Alfa has 246bhp with the parts listed.

Good to have you along, Cobrius!

Sorry, should have mentioned that the above figures are AFTER oil change, and BEFORE full running in (though each has done a few miles through testing). Thanks for the heads up guys, I'm going to check these now.....

Edit: Sorry, well spotted! The Nissan has stage 2 engine tune, not stage 1. The Alfa has NO air filter upgrade (dunno how that snuck in, I hadn't even bought one for it!!).

Got a couple in mind would like to test most but thats a heck of alot of running in.:p:crazy:

Sign me up tyrrell :) im 100% in this car TBD.

I need a good clean series 👍

Only thing that worrys me is this:

No power or weight checks will take place at the races - you are trusted to adhere to your specific tuning menu. Please also do not fully run-in your car beforehand, except through what practice you feel you require.

I echo the above.:)👍

TBBH, I'm actually undecided on checking figures, I'd need to try it out to see what regulation figures will suit each car.

I would suggest to do your private testing in an online lobby, so all cars stay the same without run-in. The power gain will approximately be equal for all cars with the run-in.

Once you decide which car to use, you can still run it in. If people don't do it before the first race, it will happen during the first one or two race days anyway, so I guess it's better to have everyone at a level playing field than everyone with different miles on their cars for the first race.

You can see the worry though mate?:) Im all for the trust thing but theres always that nagging doubt in the back of the old nut.:nervous: Temptations a wicked thing.:sly:

Yeah, but I guess you can't know for sure anyway, also with tests. Because what about clutch and flywheel...can't really test these.

As jb says but also say everyone is legit and someone is a lot faster due to there fast driving then there will still be doubts about his even tho his car is to spec 💡
