Send a PSN request to tyrrell_, I'll let you know if there are any practice runs in my lounge.

Can I ask if the Alfa regs are right now? I remember you said they wrong, but have you changed them to be right? Just buying the car now and getting parts

Tyrrell is it ok with you and everyone if we could delay the start of the events to 20:30 GMT?

As it is now 20:00 GMT and I just arrived at home and this will be my usual schedule.

Or I will be only able to join the second race.

Thanks.

I can delay the second race until 20:30, that should be fine.

The Alfa regs are as you see them in the OP, which has since been corrected.

After my second test, it looks like I will settle on the Volvo C30. It's not my favourite in terms of driving, but I'm the fastest in it.

So, unless I miraculously find more speed in some other car (maybe during a long run?), please note down the C30 for me. (colour: blue, rims: white)

Tyre wear 👎

Volvo is quick but kills the tyres worse than the Atenza in TOCA this season, and that was on RHs. Got bored of understeer by the end of TOCA 6.

Just a pointer, your driving style might be better than mine, but the C30 wouldn't be my choice! 👍

You might be right, because I haven't done long runs yet, but remember TOCA was with 80 more hp, a bunch more torque and not Sports Hard tyres. With these low-powered cars it's more about maintaining the speed through a corner, so tyre wear should be considerably less of an issue.

I shouldn't be too concerned with tyre wear. Yes, this will take getting used to a bit of understeer, but that's the nature of the beasts. To take care of excessive wear requires some tweaking, and the custom LSD can help a lot with this.

Aaahh, SHs should still get wear though but dont take my word, I hqvent tested under these specs

Hi all,

Are we a having a pre-season testing session?

That would be cool to see where we stand with the other drivers...

Can´t make the Opener.
Job is all over me next week.
After that I´m good :D

I probably take the Alfa though.

So, any thoughts about trackboundaries on Deep Forest?

Anyway I'm looking forward to the race tomorrow.

The track of Deep Forest consists of all tarmac surfaces, and tarmac alone. Concrete/paving is outside the track, so no cutting that corner or running wide in the first tunnel.

Perfect, that is how I always do.

Tonight will begin with the qualifying time trial.

We all take turns to set a time. Complete your out lap, then you get two flying laps. Your quickest lap time will go on the board.

The order will be as it is listed in the OP:
1. Tyrrell
2. Miguel
3. Sakery
4. Andy
5. Cobrius
6. Olly
7. Snow
8. Carneiro

Absentees will be skipped over, but if they can make the race, they will be added to the back of the grid in the order they arrive.

It's onnnn!

No prob mig, if you're in before 20:20gmt, you can still qualify. If not, you will be placed at the back of the grid (or 6th as it is).

Brilliant opener to the series! Results and championship standings will be entered into the OP tomorrow, thanks again!

Was good fun battling, Alfa difficult but was still fun to drive. Good league you have going tyrrell:tup:

Nice race for me. Managed to get away clean from pole and build a lead, and from what I saw on the track map, a very close race for all people following. Little did I know that the Nissans were on a no-stopper. So after I came in, I found myself 16 seconds down with 14 laps to go. With the new tyres I was able to catch up, but I was slightly worried that my tyres would go bad before I could use my advantage. Luckily I caught the 3 leaders about 5 laps from the end and the better top speed of the Volvo helped me go by cleanly without trying anything stupid.

Should be interesting with different strategies and the reverse grids in the next races! 👍

Hi all.

What a race last night!! One of the most exciting I ever had!! 3/4 of the race pursuing Ty and Eriba with those two having some amazing passes but then on lap 28 I hit the wall and damaged the car badly and ended being passed on the final lap by Cobrius...

Nevertheless a wonderful race...

Congrats to Snow who had fantastic pace and with a stop still managed to regain the lead!!

Ty would you consider having a mandatory pitstop or a pit window? I think it would be nice...

Glad it was fun. :) I've considered a mandatory pit, but decided against it, considering the different weights and characteristics of each car, and the fact that the heavier cars are a little bit faster than the lighter cars (albeit having greater tyre wear).

what day and time is this held , i missed it in the op , i must be blind.

and do you only have 6 competitors now ?
