Hey everyone!!

Finally I've been able to post my video, all thanx to Seito4Counter fo hosting. Sorry about the repetitive song, but it is an old video. My brother and I dont play that much together, cuz we dont have the time. THe whole video is mostly 2 player drifts, but not all (didnt have enough clips to fill the whole song). Here's the link...

We both used sims and analog controller. Tell me what you guys think about the video. Thanx.

This is the best twin drift video I've ever seen produced for GT3. :) You guys truely have a lot of coordination and patience. How many laps did it take for u guys to get that close?

Edit: Reminds me of the Initial D battles :P

Thanx for the comment.
Dunno...A LOT...we aim to get really close as possible. I am always the person in the back and I gas it until i get really close to him and the slow down. We messed up a lot too and it gets really frustrating when we tap or ram each other in a turn. It does take a lot of patience, but its worth it.

I've tried it with some of my friends and i usually always have to be the one behind because i can control better but we never got 1 turn nearly as close as those. you guys have some superior car control going on there. Its funny in some of the side shots u can see exact countersteer from u guys at the same time :P

That was awesome!!

Regarding twin drifting, any tips since you guys are pretty good at it.
I had posted this in the TWIN DRIFT THREAD:

I was experimenting with Twin drifting and watching real life in car videos of it to see the technique. Here is what I've discovered, the follower needs to understand more car control and make good use of the ebrake to maintain the same drift angle of the leading car and not to overtake.

I was practicing in GT3 by loading another persons drift replay and twin drifting with their ghost. Many times, early on I'd find my self drifting right through the ghost when I'd powerover to try and match the angle. What I learned was as a follower, you watch for the leader to take the angle and you can gas it hard and drift towards him, but when you see yourself about to rear end him, pull the ebrake to maintain your drift angle and cause your car to back off, and you can then quickly accellerate and continue the drift to keep up and finish off the drift once you have clear path... This has worked the best and I can maintain a very small distance away from the leader and the replays are very cool.

  👍 👍 That was a pleasure to watch :) man, those were some wicked stuff!! And your control over the RX7 (the solo one) of Deep Forest II was awesome dude!!! Great vid bro.. keep it up!!:)

what codec is this?

At first all i got was green video,Then installed the Nimo Codec Pack and it started to play,But the video froze after a few seconds,But the audio continued

dying to check this out.If you could tell me what codec you used i am sure i could get it working

Great vid, keep up the drifting with your brother, so we can see some progress. I wish I had someone in my town I could twin drift with.;)

and i am speechless. very very nice. the cars were sooo damn close. very nice vid man. keep it up 👍 :D

that was perfect! for all those newbies who think drifting is easy, they should make this their epitome of what drifting is really about.

Great work, now if I can only find a good partner or driver in my area.

Shouldn't this be posted in the Photography and Video's forum, like it says in the guidelines?

Why? This is directly related to GT3 Drifting, as our forum title says. I don't know about you. but I don't go to the Photography and Videos Forum waiting for the off-chance that someone might post up a vid.

Its amazing how close you got. Unfortunatly me and my brother still suck at drifting so we can't really do that. But nice job! It makes me wanna go practice some more.

 You guys are CRAZY... getting that close in a drift, one little hit could cause the one in the lead to spin. Unbelievable drifts. You guys are very skilled to drift so close to each other. I bet you guys have alot of spins and crashes. Noone would dear go that close. Even I dont go that close when i drift with my ghost. Its unbelievable!!!

Sum it all up... you guys are crazy S.O.B  Great video. I enjoy it.

Awesome!!!! That was just purely awe-inspiring twin-drift action like neverbefore seen here on GTP!!!!

Keep up the good work!

Hello everyone!!

first of all i gotta thank Seito4Counter for hosting our lil video... my lil brother put in a lot of work just on the editing part alone... we actually had the video done months ago but my brother had to find out how to compress the video from its original size of 100+ mb down to its present size...
Yea... i'm the guy driving all the cars that are in front... the last drift was all my brother... as much as i hate to admit it i can't drift like he does... but we get some good drifts... as u can probably imagine we put a lot of time to get this video out... a lot of drifting... i mean a lot... hours of drifiting... and these clips are what we have to show for it... not bad tho... hopefully we'll have more time to drift some more and find another song to have a movie for... i have some turns i'd like to twin drift but haven't mastered yet... but hopefully we'll be able to get at practicing those turns...

although he is better at making these drifts work and he's pretty good at following my lines... we still got more practicing to do... i'm sure someone out there is just waiting to get their video up to show the world their skills... which is prolly better than my brother's and mine... but hey... a lil competition among us drifters means better videos for u guys!!! not a bad deal huh?

and to all u drifters that came before us... this video isn't meant to belittle ur work... u guys inspired my bro and i to do this although there are some videos out there with hardly any drifting and they title it drifting i think u guys know which ones i'm talkin about... the ones with driving on a straight away... and taking the turns extremely slow... and then skidding the tail for less then a second... and calling it a drift... this video was meant to inspire ppl to start drifting and for ppl to see what my brother's and i's definition of "twin drifting" is... we have set the bar at this level... please feel free to do better... we want u to... that way we can aspire to be better and we'll all get better and the audiences will have better videos to add to their collection...

thanks again for the positive responses that u have posted... i look forward to more replies... and i especially look forward to other videos...

until then keep drifting... and all those who are starting out drifting... its all about patience... hit up these forums... find out settings... practice with those and u'll find ur own favorite settings... and with more practice all the turns in gt3 will be urs to drift at will...

till then peace out,

divine sensei
