This is the first race of the Prologue Cup. You can still join the cup! There is no deadline for driver registerations (sp?).

The Car: Cusco Subaru Advan Impreza JGTC

The Track: Fuji International Speedway

The Rules:

You must have at least two wheels on the track at all times.
Rumble strips are part of the track.
No shortcutting.
No wall riding or collisions with wall.
No cheating.

Race Method:

Arcade Mode - Single Race. No AI. Drive on an empty track, send me your best single lap time in the end of the week via PM.

The Deadline:

Monday the 21st June. 12 PM (noon) GMT. Send me your fastest time via PM before the deadline.

You can discuss T-times only in this thread. Don´t discuss lap times.

Have fun!
Hope you like it!

Great car/track conbo, too bad I won't be able to enter this round.:(

We going for best single lap, or best two-lap race time?

Yep, best single lap.

And thanks, I thought this could be a nice combo. At least it´s fast. :trouble:
And toler, where do you get those Finnish things? :D

Good that you people like the car! The car is very fast and it has very good brakes and handling. And combined to a racetrack, this race is very classic.

OK, I did some calculatings, and I found out that I will only be able to enter every second round, therefore, I have no chance of winning.:(

Here are some splits from my hotlap, what do you say?

T1 0.24,857
T2 0.46,358
T3 1.11,390

i havent found all the right braking points yet, but hey...

I didn't say I was going. This'll be great! I would really like to see how good I am compared to the rest of you.:D

when we get to grand canyon i won´t get any points anyway, so you´ll still have a chance :)

I´m not too good in rallies too. And the Canyon is hard, ´cause there are so many walls there and there is no room for mistakes..

I´m gonna race this a little later today, and I propably post some times tomorrow.

I've still got to get used to using both analog sticks again, stupid Chineese version made me switch to the X square for brake and accelerator. Now i've got the Pal version, braking and accelerating feels odd, especially holding the accelerator at a certain point.

A Finn that´s no good at Rallying. I thought you guys were born on gravel ;)

Ok, I had a session with this so I´m gonna post my times now:

T1: 24.6
T2: 46.5
T3: 1´10.5
Nothing special.

The car is extremely fun to drive. It turns in a mean beast when you accelerate!

And toler, we´ll see in the canyon.. I´m not the best rally driver, but infact, I got a division win in the Weekly in Swiss Alps :p

I'll go for this. Now to decide weather to use the wheel or controller...

I don't have an x-port or video capture device, so I won't be able to verify...Although I do have a digital camera...

I can't resist this one, one of my top 3 cars in GT4P at Fuji...nice.

After about 35mins

24.780 / 46.212 / 1'11.740

needs some work, we will see.

Yeah, it feels great nailing the first corner in this car I just love the way it turns in. I've got times, but there at home, i'll post them when I get home and then have another go at it.

Yes, I think F1 point scheme is a fair one although we could also use Nascar points if your a maths Professor ;)

ps: as I said before, this is gonna be tight!

Yep, and I don´t see me going that much faster there. I saw so times at another board and i´m already up with arwin´s times. If you know who that is you know what that means...
BTW i´m driving with wheel/AT/assists off - gonna get back to Fujiyama now, later!

Yep, there is not much time left on the track.

I´m driving with a wheel/MT/Assists off/No TCS

I gotta get back to Fuji too!
I hope I´m back with better times
