Why GT4 was delayed - Subaru ad owns up

An ad in the latest edition of Australia's "Motor" magazine jokingly implies that Gran Turismo 4 was delayed because they were waiting for the 2005 Impreza WRX STi to be released.

Does go to show just how popular the game is, that manufacturers can reference it in their ads.

Certainly raised a chuckle, it shows that GT is widely recognised in the motor industry.

This is pretty neat. I must say I'm very impressed, they even used the sans-serif font some Gran Turismo 4 related doohikies are labeled with, on the "Now they can release Gran Turismo 4". I want that font.
 
That's pretty awesome. Definitely shows how much influence the Gran Turismo has achieved. I do like the fact that Subaru has been behind what GT is about for a long time. More manufacturers need to get the hint and do the same and support GT! Great way to sell cars

Seeing as there are so many Subaru's in the game I am sure that they will want to promote their cars and a game that contains alot of their cars all at once!

That car will definately be in the game.....ever Subaru to date is! :lol:
