seems to be a very clear boarder around the text, which usually means a cut n paste jobbie...... hmm im not sure though simply because its just great :)

A thumbs up, if it's real, for the clever marketing people over at Subaru!

actually.. im now thinking its real, as the writing slants exactly the same amount as the top of the white portion of the same page. i doubt anyone would leave the speckles around the writing whilest remembering to do this 👍

my work here is done i think :dopey:

i do alot of scanning and photo-manipulating. pixel garbage around objects is pretty normal.

👍 to subaru

Race Idiot
Certainly raised a chuckle, it shows that GT is widely recognised in the motor industry.

Well i'd like to think so, well at least in Japan probably.

Yeah.

Umm.

I'll just be going now.

Or perhaps just Subaru.

im with you i think its real too now, anthough the majority of the garbage was around that one area, which was the area in question, and seemed less like the effect of compression and more like a chop n shop.. but anyways besides the point 👍

LaBounti - Nissan and Mitsubishi have also seen the positive effects of gran turismo in the form of the now godlike skylines and lancers, and im sure if you aked them they would be just as pleased to be part of GT as Subaru, same goes for TVR actually but the other way round. sales to Japan rocketed.

True but I was referring to the "Subaru" ad. I know Nissan and Toyota both work close with PD, but I'm starting to feel this ad is a fake.

Aren't the GT4 simulators sponsored by subaru. That is sort of a close link I guess. It means they work together.

It was delayed because they didn't want ME to get my hands on it.

Since I am the greatest GT player of all time, they are putting off their shaming.

Well you can believe it's fake if you wish. Here are a few higher-res scans. Unfortunately there's a fold in the middle of the ad, so it wouldn't make a very good desktop wallpaper.

trEVO, if you sent me the full size scans I could fix them up a little. If possible, send two different pictures for each page and I can piece them together.

<sarcasm>

So it is Subaru's fault, here I was thinking it was mine bacause of my little request I sent to KY & PD.

I mean I only asked for Le Mans (current & old config), Spa, Bathurst, full Pikes Peak, Toyota Tacoma Pikes Peak, Toyota Celica Pikes Peak, Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak, Porsche (356, 928 GTS, 944 turbo, 911 Turbo, 911 Carrera RS, 930, 917, 956, 962, 996 Turbo, 959, Carrera GT), Ferrari (Dino, 250 GTO, 288 GTO Evolutizone, 328 GTS & GTB, 512BB, 365 GTB, F40, F50, 348, 355, 360, 430, Tessarossa, Enzo, 333SP) and if he had time Lamborghini (Muira, Contach, Diablo, Murcielago, Gallardo).

But it turns out Subaru delayed it because of just one car...

</sarcasm>

I bought my Impreza right after driving it in GT1.
Told Subaru so in all the surveys I've recieved.

Next up for me: '05 Legacy!

Thank you for this ad & the time to scan & host it. Three cheers for Australia again.

I'm surprised Chevrolet didn't come up with a deal like that. You know, like imagine that Chevy wanted to put in all kinds of muscle cars to disrespect the Japanese car fans and then say "now GT4 can be released." But this is actually pretty funny. I liked it. Likewise, if maybe a few more Lancers and Skylines weren't on the cover, that would tick off most everyone in the sense that "don't we have enough of these now?"

Anyhow, welcome to the GT4 party, Subaru Impreza.
