I wanted to start a thread for RL WRX owners to post in game pics of their Rexs.

That's cool- I did the same with my '01 RS.

In GT3, the WRX was the old body but looked just like my RS. I ran the PS2 thru my VCR and captured it on a replay. Some photoshopping with the titles and my RS was in the game... Old Skool Photo Mode...

Used it as my sig file until I sold it.
 
The one I own in RL is not the STI like the game. I wish they would put the other versions of the Impreza in, not just the STI.

I can't complain though...it looks just like mine...minus the STI badges on it. :)

I find it kinda obvious that, thats a rs. the wrx and sti dont come in that blue, and there is no hood scoop. RS's do have a few advantages over the WRX like larger displacement and they are alot cheaper. ive seen the older GDB rs's being turbocharged and are quite fast.

that is an awesome looking impreza, alpha. im looking for a wrx soon.
 
lol im planning on trading this THING for a evo MR, M3, or CTS-V....not to sure yet, after i finnish paying it off i'll start shoppin
 
heh, thats a hard decision between a Evo MR and M3. I like the Evo a little more, for the fact that im a little bit more of a japanese car lover, and like boost, which the M3 is lacking.

But to the topic, i have a 2000 STi in WR Blue w/ about 350 hp that runs 10.49 at best with nitrous. thats good considering i dont even have an aftermarket turbo, just basic mods. I also have the STi Touring race car in black, you know, its like a LM car just its not called LM anymore. I wish i had a USB Cord, id have these pics up in a sec. Oh wait, i forgot im not a Impreza owner, lol. future....future..... đź’ˇ

WOW!! 10.49!! That's pretty good for only 350 hp. I assume that is a quarter mile time and not an eighth. I don't have a wrx or even an impreza for that matter but my friend had a black 2004 wrx. He sold it after he blew his clutch a couple of times. Oh well...

That car remimded me of a go-kart when he test drove it. :D :D He's looking to get it back or get a new one. Guess the avalanche wasn't quick enough for him.

So you don't really belong in the wrx thread do you? :D J/K I've seen alot of wrx's that run a FMIC and just buy a new hood to get that sleeper look. I just figured thats what you did.

:( i want a WRX sooo bad.. lol i hope i get one, but i mean.. honestly, how many people do you know that their parents would get them a WRX for their first car.. (okay i know a few.. actually bmws and stuff but still!) ya.. i love subarus such nice cars


oh hey by the way, did anyone notice that the WRX in GT4 IS an STi? it has the same specs as the STi??? ..thats not right... wrx is slower than STi; either that.. or i've never heard of a WRX "spec C"
 
Yeah...I don't knkow too many parents who would buy their child a Rex for their first car.

Just the other day some kid street racing a rex got killed near me. A day before that another kid got killed racing a 300 Z.

Street racing is so unecessary....too much danger and too many people doing it that don't know how to handle a car at high speeds.

I occassionally from a dead stop race someone off the line for a few hundred meters, but never full blown racing. These kids were on side roads racing at over 100 mph.

Why is it that only ********s in 4 x 4's want to take me on....it cracks me up.

My car goes 0-60 in less than 6 seconds. It's like these south side hoosiers see this little Japanese car and think it can't possibly compare to their big American truck. I'm always gone before they hit the gas.
