The GT4 Touge Challenge!!!
300 & 400 Class

What is Touge?
For all you folks that dont know what touge is, It's based on the famous Best Motoring International Togue series, in which people enter and drive their tuned cars down a mountain road in a battle to see who's the fastest.

How to take part.
Menu Guidance: GT Mode > Select your car > Original Circuits > Deep Forest Reverse > Free Run
Now, of course, we cant follow all the same rules of play that BMI use such as the Initial D style battles, so i've chosen to make this a simple time challenge with one leaderboard for everyones times (time sending info located at bottom of post). As you can tell the location of the touge stage is at Deep Forest. But it's not that simple.
In order to create a proper touge STAGE, i've had to opt for a section of the track rather than the whole thing. Now here's the tricky part. As you can see in the picture below, the end of T1 has a line across the road, this is the start of the stage.

You need to stop just before the line as this will be a standing start. The end of the stage is simply just the regular finish line for the circuit. Once you're stationary at the stage start line, GO! And once you cross the line it will give you your T1 time. Once you finish the stage you need to watch your replay and record your T1 time and your total lap time. Then to work out your stage time you must do the following formula:
Overall lap time - T1 time = stage time
Example: 1'33.890 - 0'36.107 = 0'57.783 <-- Stage time!

Rules:
NO RACE CARS ALLOWED
Power: 400BHP or Less this is measured on the pre-race settings screen (401BHP NOT alowed)

I will try to update the leaderboards as often as possible.

Confused?!?!?
Here's a video walkthrough of the togue:

Is that an example up there, you have a 400 BHP limit, yet your NSX is 481. Just asking to clarify ;) Anyways, you do need video capture for this, correct?

You dont necessariyl need video capture, but I do reccomend that you save your ghost. Sorry about the NSX thing lol, I didnt notice that. Thanks.

I thought that area was off-track as it's past the rumble strips. If I used that I could have shaved a second off of my time as there's no need to brake. I guess we can use that then ?

in gt2 i could clear this map with my trd2000gt drifting 45-50 seconds, i guess i will try out with my mazda rx7 or mr2!

cool, tomorrow im gonna try and make some stages on other togue style circuits like Trial Mountain. If I find and make up at least 3 more then I might make a Togue series in the short race series forum. Ill see how much interest this attracts first, TELL YOUR FRIENDS! lol.

Nice to see some more initial D cars. I think i'll stick with my nsx now, ive got it tuned perfectly for my driving style.

Might as well just say it here..

Lotus Elise 111R
300 HP on the settings menu
Racing Super Softs

55.801

hey just a tip lol just like ID arcade stage i think there should be another kind of leader board system like the fastest time for each car type/model..
example
car NSX track deep forest
_______
1st time x.xx dude guy

2nd x.xx cool dude

youknow like that cuz it'll be hard to be in first place with a trueno you know what i mean?

Funny how this concerned popped up after I wasted the current time.

Consider power to weight ratio ;) Its one of hte better systems
