Joey (BlazinXtreme) survives serious car accident

This is Joey's (BlazinXtreme) brother Max and I figured I'd let all of you know that he was involved in a pretty serious accident last night on his way up north. From what I was told was that his buy Chris's F-150 was pulling their snowmobiles up north and there were two guys street racing on the freeway one guy passed on the shoulder and lost control hitting there truck. This caused the F-150 to roll over 3 times and going down a small embankment. Katie (Joey's fiancee) was in the vehicle behind them from what she told me.

They called me from the hospital a few minutes ago (I can't go, I have strep throat) and said Joey is awake but he's pretty banged up. From what they can tell he has a broken arm, 3 cracked ribs, several cuts, and his bad knee blew out completly.

Chris (his buddy) is still not awake yet, but is stable and expected to regain consiousness soon.

The driver of the car that hit them is in critical condition and not expected to live.

Anyways I'll keep you guys informed...I know you were like his internet family here.

Woh that's a pretty messed up crash. Hope Joey gets better and there's no long term problems (his knee perhaps) and thanks for taking the time to tell us :up:

Hope him and his friend are OK. Sorry to hear that.

That's what happens when someone street races, they put themselves, and others in danger.

Again, I hope they're OK.

Damn... I'm sorry to hear this. By the sound of his injuries, he should pull through alright. Tell him we all said to hang in there. We're thinking of him.

Bring magazines and playing cards to play with. Trust me, he'll go crazy doing nothing there but stare out the door or count holes in the ceiling. I've been there before. Electronic equipment, like MP3s or video games, might not be allowed. Also, bring his pillow from home and maybe a blanket from his bed. Try to bring items that remind him of home. Trust me, they help a lot. Also, tell him to enjoy the sponge baths as much as possible, because several months and years from now, it's going to be a nice memory.

Wow, hope they all get better soon.
This should be a wake up call to "street racers" on this board, keep it on the track.

Wow, that sucks hard man.

I remember some of his posts when he was a street racer and then quit knowing it was stupid. And now he was injured from 2 other bozos doing it.

Have they found the other moron yet?

Wow.... I can't fathom any decent language to support my feelings on this. I just hope Blazin' is ok and back to his good ol' self soon. :(
 
Oh man, that is not good.

How street racers put themselves, and so many other people in danger is beyond me. They should be locked up.

Gah, stupid street racers. :grumpy: there's a reason trackdays were invented. :rolleyes: I hope Joey makes a full recovery, that knee sounds nasty. :(

Still, at least he has his Blazer to come home to, it sounds like the F-150 is a write-off.
