Well I did a search, checking all 85 search results, and came up empty handed.

Do you guys think buying GTPremium is worth it?

I am not so sure, I asked a few friends, and most of them said it was well worth it, as well as how they don't have to delete PM messages as much, with the big ass PM storage box.

Well then again I am supporting the community, so do you think it's worth it? 👍

Hell yes. All i want is a bigger PM box :grumpy:

P.S. CNG is your sig getting updated 24/7? :odd: Just before i saw a lol link to a post...

I think the benefits far outweigh the costs.
👍

You didnt even pay for it did you.. You got it as a gift... I just cant get premo because i cant give credit card no. to net places, even though i trust GTP :)

I don't even have a credit card, I paid via PayPal. 👍

You don't have to be afraid to say that your parents won't let you use their credit cards. You're 12, they're hardly likely to hand them over so easily.

Why not just make a paypal account and link it up to your bank account? That's assuming Jordan takes e-cheques, of course. I've never actually tried it.

Well however you pay for it then. 2nd issue annoys the hell outta me.

Sorry, I'm not following you. What's the problem? :dunce:

Yeah, I didn't quite get that either...

To answer CNG's question, yes it's worth it. If you're really not sure, buy one month of it. If you're not happy, you haven't exactly blown a lot of money, and if you do like it (which you will) you can go and buy some more in larger quantities. If you're not happy to spend the $4 to get all of these benefits, it's probably not for you.

There's only one disadvantage, really: after your month or year runs out, you really miss the benefits :p. Of course, buying lifetime will solve that problem.

Then save money, tell you parents about it, give them said money, and have them pay for it via paypal/credit card. Thats how I did it.

It's worth it simply for the fact that you are supporting a very well run, entertaining and educational site with a diverse community of members.

All the "extras" that come with a Premium are just that, extras.

The real benefit f Premium is knowing you are helping to support the site from the high costs of running a site like this so that it not only can continue, but hopefully keep it from being overrun with wall-2-wall banners, pop-up adds, add links, and shills... much like what has happened to many other popular forums where the members offer little or no financial support.

Well basiclly in other words, I WANT PREMIUM :grumpy:

What was wrong with the suggestions we just gave you? If you really can't buy it, then don't. That's fine - there are lots of people on this forum who can't buy premium for whatever reason. But, this is a thread where CNG is asking for people's opinions on whether premium is worth buying. I don't think this is the right place to make excuses for not buying it yourself.

You need the personal option.
Thanks Danachronism.👍

PayPal dont work for me,you need a Visa or Mastercard and dont have that.
I just have a bankcard.
If i ask someone to pay GTPremium for me and then pay him back how he wants it
,can i do that.

Eh? You don't need a credit card for paypal. You create the account and then add your payment methods when you want. My account had no payment method associated with it for over a year. Only recently I got myself verified which links your paypal account to your bank account. You give them your bank details, they make 2 small deposits in your account, and you enter the amount of those deposits in your paypal account. Voila! You're then registered and can withdraw money from your bank account into paypal and vice versa. Bear in mind that there's a small charge involved with the withdrawl proccess.

Yes, you're free to get someone else to buy it for you. Many members have had premium bought for them. Providing there's someone you can trust and who trusts you, there's no problem with that.

Like I stated earlier, I don't have a credit card either. I just took the above way, and it works like a charm until today.

You don't enter your bank card details like you'd enter your credit card details. That's like putting petrol in your diesel car.

Go through the steps to get verified. That's how you set up your bank account. A bank card and a debit card are totally different things.

Steering away from PayPal problems, I think premium is well worth it simply because of the lack of ads. It makes the site function as it was meant to be. Of course BIG RED USERNAMES are kinda cool too. Although it is by no means uncommon.

CNG
So that means no more pop ups? :D
That's it :)

IMO, Premium is well worth the price... and it's always a great way to support GTP with its running costs. The best thing to do (for GTP) is to buy Premium every year, rather then buying a lifetime (like I did, because I'm a lazy bastard 👍).

I definitly recommend it, since I recieved mine from touring Mars, I'm absolutly enjoying it 👍

Though it'll end next year April, by then I'm 18, have a Paypal account and I'm up for more!
