most people use the Laguna Seca endurance race using bspec.

I've done that before and the miles didn't count when it was over.

How much is having a car from 4 different decades? 2pts?

I was going to do an All-American line up, but the only 4wd I had under 500pp was the Dodge Ram and I didn't want to take that from you goat.

You must have messed something up.

The most common problem is assuming that the game is really saving when it says it is. I always do a manual save after breaking in a car or doing something else similarly important.

If you don't have a Ford RS200 I highly recommend getting one when you see one in the UCD. It's a really nice car.
In fact, I generally hate all the 4wd cars in the game, and I actually like that one.
(Really I think perhaps it's not technically American built, but I can't recall the details. But it does count as a Ford.)

Append: I just looked and well, 4wd American cars in the game are quite limited:

Correct, the Brits had a big part to play in the RS200 since it was bred for rallying....just like they did with the GT40.

Thank you. 👍 I couldn't remember the details.
But yes, it's the road of a rally car. Which is probably why I like it.
I prefer the 4wd rally cars in the game to any of the 4wd road cars... Like the 4wd Skylines & Evos I really hate. The Evos understeer is maddening to me, I cannot adjust. And the Skylines I find to be rather rigid & unpredictable.
(This is all unmodified I'm talking about of course, not tuned.)

Another really fun car that's the road version of the rally car is the Nissan SILVIA that looks really really ugly. It's very fun to drive, and in stock condition, it's gearing is fantastic. (Not the case with all stock trans.)
(I mention this because I take note of cars that do not suffer from automatic transmission usage. I generally use Manual shifting up until about 380pp cars, and then with faster cars only use Manual if the car's gearing is crap. Because I'm not so good at shifting.)

This is likely. I may have turned it off before going to the main screen or something dumb. I'll try it again late tonight.

And even if I had the RS200, there's someone who runs that a lot too so I wouldn't want to steal that from them. Bottom line, not a lot of 4wd American cars. I had a Focus rally car but it was 499pp or something.

Yup, Ford RS200 was interily built in England to be part of a long gone Group B along with other icons as the Audi Quattro, Peugeot 205 T16 or the MG Metro.
Group B was a special group of machines with over 400hp that dominated the rally events in Europe during the 80's.
This cars was so powerful that freak accidents started happening frequently and the beginning of the end of this class happened when Henry Toivonnen died while racing his RS200. Shortly after, in Portugal, another RS200 lost control and killed several expectators and this video i'm embedding is the RS200 accident that made the group B disappear.

I'm not sure if I missed it in the OP, or if it's even a rule, but are we allowed to use tuner/race cars? Something the the Ballade Sports CR-X, etc.?

Here is my line up for monday, so long as I have all of these cars anyway...
1: (FF): Peugeot 206 RC '03 401
2: (AWD): Ford RS200 '84 438*
3: (MR): Toyota MR2 Spyder '99 383*
4: (FR): Toyota ALTEZZA RS200 '98 403
Total: 1625

Man I love putting that PP total right on the dot! BTW, how about a bonus for shared monickers? I have two RS200's. I also have two from the same manufacturer and 3 countries. wheres that point list again.

Edit:
3 manufactures from 3 countries: 1pt.
And that was the only one, maybe I can get the 4 decades though, hmm.....
Not this week, But I got an idea for next weeks lineup.

Tuner and race cars are allowed but currently they run on the same sports soft tires as non tuner/race cars.

I put my mini through the laguna endurance race and it took this time. I changed the oil and I'm at 410pp so I think myGT was wrong at 413.

You can add it to the spreadsheet:
Mini Cooper S '11 438miles 410pp

yea we already have that one on the spread sheet. Speaking of which we are over half way there:)

Sports hard?
sorry yes sports hards.

I hope that we get people running tuner/race cars although I feel taking the racing tires away from them kinda kills the point of them. I would like to revisit the idea of allowing race cars to run on racing tires with a PP adjustment.

Headed to D3 for some testing:)

Thats the thing that kills me about the PP rating system. It only accounts for hp/tq numbers and weight, but no other mods. In my opinion, race cars/tuners/concepts generally run far faster then stock street cars at the same PP level.

Proposed lineup for Monday:
MR/RR - Lotus Europa '71 (400PP)
FR - Toyota Levin AE86 '83 (363PP)
FF - Mitsubishi FTO GR '97 (396PP)
4WD - Audi TT '00 (412PP)

Total - 1571PP

Revised for Monday

FR (436) RX-8 Type S '03
FF (367) 206 CC '01
4D (412) S3 '02
MR (410) Speedster '00

Total 1625

Are you finding that the case in testing? I have not seen that with the low PP race cars. But that just might be me and the ones I tested.

Tez, Mondays PP cap is 1625 so you have another 54 PP to use:)

I plan to make it tonight but will not have a line up until after work so like 9:30ish. Hope I got some good 375pp standards. Maybe there will be some gifts waiting for me when I get home.(hint hint) See you guys tonight!
