Ok Guys. Sorry for all the confusion around Saturday Nights. There is no race tonight or next Saturday. But going forward we are going to alternate Nights with the S.P.E.C. Racing. So I can now announce that our next Saturday Night Race will be in two weeks. After that it will run every other Saturday. In between why not give the S.P.E.C. races a try. So here are the details for the Performance Cap Saturday race to be held on March 23rd. Let the car selections and signups begin.

Righto, lineup take two...this time with 1625PP in mind:
FF - Chrysler PT Cruiser '00 (362)
MR/RR - Renault Clio Sport V6 '00 (434...the premium one we used a little while back)
4WD - Audi TT (412)
FR - Mazda RX-8 Type E '03 (413)

Total PP - 1621 and two bonus points (4 different makes and 3 different continents), correct?

Edit; I see the Audi and Mazda have been picked by other people, so I may change them to be unique before Monday night, lol

I haven't checked it with lower pp cars, but I have experience with it 450 pp and above, but that was many updates ago, so that may not be the case. I'll give it a looking at tomorrow I think. I'm going to try and get some time in.

Also I have posted the challenges In the fourth post. Nothing official yet but let's see how they would effect the results for Mondays race:) So let me know if you fit the parameters for any of the challenges. Perhaps we should add one. Beat Nick in 3 races get 10 pts;)

Here is my Monday line up for the 1625pp. The pp's I have are higher than what they checked out to be??? So, I should be good no matter what. All my cars have less than 15K (Except for the BMW it has 34K) and it even showed higher.

FF - Acura Integra Type R '01 (409)
4WD - Audi TT 1.8 quattro '00 (413)
MR - Toyota MR-S '02 (385)
FR - BMW 120i '04 (414)

Can you double check your PP for the 120i? Mine is 375 broken in? I thnk the 120d is 395 (breaking that in now) so either yours is tuned or maybe you listed the wrong car. Of course nothing is stopping you from running it;)

Your right Joby. Brain fart on my end, it was tuned. I will replace it with the Nissan 240SX '96 (416pp) 1942 miles. So pp should be correct on this one. That will put me at 1623.

This thread is the biggest confusion ever!!! Jobyone posted that next pp cap race is in 12 days but people keep posting about earlier dates... what am i missing here?

I think people are posting in advance because maybe they can't make tonight.

I'm downgraded to a maybe for tonight. I'll be lucky to be home by 9pm from work, so we will see...
 
If one is ever confused, the best idea is always look to the original post. Generally everything is posted there.
 
Oh no!!! Dumb me.... i forgot that there's the Saturdays and the mondays and only saturdays are getting postponed. Sorry. So 1625 for tonight. I'll be there.
 
I'm planning to race tonight. Although 2 of my cars are not fully broken in I realized too late. :nervous: Oops. :dopey: Still better than any alternatives I could think up.

@ Schmiggz - don't feel bad, I got confused about the caps & such & Monday / Saturday thing too, earlier in the thread. :dopey:
Although I may perhaps be easily confused :boggled: which is why my thread OPs always look like they are printed for kindergarten :lol: with big fonts for headers and different colours :crazy: (I could easily confuse myself & forget what's going on. lol :guilty:)
 
Hey guys, had a big day. Landed an AWESOME job, but I still got a lot of work to do tonight, so I won't be making it on to race tonight. Sorry fellas, I really hate not getting to race.

No idea what turned my ABS off. I never went into that screen. I'm fairly certain I'd have won that at SPA and then I'd have the Ford RS200 for the last race. :(

I was too far back to win, but a podium was very possible. Eh...there's always next time.
 
Just looked at the replay, racefan definitely had his line and I had no real ground to make that move. The bump was slight but enough to give me an advantage to pass. Better to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission.

Good races especially on Spa w/ Nicktune (& his lovely 67 Toyota :drool:) & racefan78 @ Motegi - who gave me incentive to stay on the track for dear life :lol:. 👍 👍

But then immediately upon arriving in Monte Carlo, several drivers apparently decided to partake of the local fare,

Sorry about that guys. I tried to be careful but that truck brings out the monster in me. And that last pass I shouldn't have attempted, sorry for jumping in your race line then slammed the e brake to try to turn. E brake and Dodge Ram don't mix.
 
After checking the replay, it's more than obvious that kendawg kinda dive bombeb into that first right corner after start/finish line straight on the 3rd lap hitting the back corner of my 240ZG causing me to spin and generate a major mayhem. The thing is that according to some witnesses i was kinda lagging bad, which i believe cuz i was just booted from Spa due to poor connection so i'm giving kendawg the benefit of doubt and i'm letting it go with zero grunts.
