I was trying to feel my way around for sure and didn't want to make any stupid mistakes right off the bat. I didn't practice enough with the untuned cars. One problem I have is getting up to speed quickly, so the short race format is bound to help me. The main thing: it's fun and competitive. But, I'll miss this Sunday as I'm working a local tradeshow. That 84 Ferrari GTO untuned is going to be...interesting.

In this series, I bought the wrong car (the concept version) and didn't realize until someone mentioned wing adjustment and I noticed I had no wing! So, I'm a little behind here too.

You've still got lots of time we have an off week only practice tonight. Wars best was 1:45.5, I'm around the 48 mark.If you need help or want someone in the room to practice with let us know.I go to practice on Thursday for snail that's it. :)

starting to dial in the s2k. getting real close to her peak (at least for my skill level) ran a 1:49.449 while making mistakes such as tapping walls and sliding a bit

Good night of testing. I liked the new format showing 3 tracks for 15 minutes with a 15 minute break in between for slight tuning. I hope everyone found it useful.
 
You know I want to apologize to everyone for my behavior tonight. I am glad birdy brought it to my attention. We acted like a bunch of animals and thats not what we are about. I was agetated because the other outsiders all night. I took it out on ron and that was stupid and immature of me. I didnt even realize I was doing it.
 
Practice tonight was completely enjoyable.
Sent a Welcome message to the visitor - Boricula.
Hope he will come again - and maybe consider joining us.

When they are dicks that's 1 thing, but calling someone a flag (thor) especially coming from SNAILS (Yes you are snails war and thor) that is not acceptable.

When someone doesn't know what we are using or what we are doing they are allowed to drop any car onto the track that fits the bill. let them race, see what they have, invite them to check out the thread.

A visitor to a public room (aka practice rooms or our off weeks like tonight), NO MATTER the country of origin should be treated with the utmost respect.

How are we suppose to build the brand with attitudes like that!

I left for 2 reason one my back was getting sore, and 2 I didn't want to blow my lid in the presence of a prospect.

Edit: oh and @thorracing I do believe flipj would disagree that brazilians are dirty racers SNAIL Member Map

I want everyone to know im trying to loosen up a bit. I am just wired to be hardcore I guess. Ill be most likley retiring soon and just want let everyone know I had An incrediable time racing you guys. With GT sport on the horizion I dont know that ill be returning. League racing is competitive and stressfull at times. Take it from me guys. Dont forget to have FUN. Making friends is alot more important than Championships. It took me alot longer to figure that out than any stupid car setup.lol

:) GTsports not coming out until maybe 2017 :) and That's what I was trying to explain to you. We aren't in GT1 for the championships we are here for good racing and good friends getting faster and learning more about how to tune.

You are very much respected with in GT1 and we learn a lot from you, especially when it comes to how to tune. Yes it would be nice if you weren't so intense but that isn't who you are. We still have the same amount of respect. You have to remember we aren't all here for the same reasons.

Ok I felt bad when @Boricua-55 said that he felt we were singling him out as the one to get and It was all me!

Now I'm so freaking impressed! Because I stock around to Race him after everyone had left He asked what car would be best?
After some discussion, I learned that he is a Disabled Veteran of the Granada conflict in a wheelchair and a Quadriplegic!
That shoot a dagger right at me, because I Too am a veteran and work at a VA hospital!

We talked for quit some time and he told me he has a wheel and use of only his hands and straps his arms down so as to control the wheel!
If your not impressed! I am and since he is in Puerto Rico, and with such spirt I want to get him here to L.A. and lets get him walking!

Hey thanks alot. I appreciate that. Im going to think about it for a while. We will see I guess. I do love the v8 supercars. Sometimes I just dont know if im whats best for this series.

Yea I wasnt going to say nothing but that guy seemed to be eating it up. He sure was playing that fiddle. lol
