Ill be doing a open test at Fuji starting at 5 pm est. Also we had some trouble with drafting duels and some pinching going on. Wed. I would like to explain more in detail on the matter. This trackslayout is very simular.to indy and these topics do not get discussed much. It will take about 5 mins before we qualify.

I need my test crew to work on that... so that you are hard pressed to do 1 stop stints with it is still possible!

The stategy is never set my fried. Its our job to push the bar.

9: Defensive Driving:

A: Leading cars have the right to choose their own line down a straight. They can change their racing line once while driving down a straight (Move from the outside line to the inside, or vice versa). As they approach the next corner, they can return to the racing line of their choice. However, they are not allowed to change their line when the behind driver is directly behind and changes his line to try and make a pass. If your movement causes an accident, you are responsible.

B: Leading cars have the right to take their line of choice through corners. I.e. they may drive a defensive line around the inside of a corner to protect their position, thereby forcing an attacking driver to try to pass around the outside. This is not blocking and is part of normal racing etiquette. In fact, apart from the restrictions of rule 10:A, a leading driver can drive any line which they feel is the most inconvenient for any following car to try to pass them. This does not mean that the lead driver may change their line mid-corner in an attempt to block a fellow competitor.

C: Drivers that are about to get lapped have to make sure not to interfere with the lapping cars. The driver being lapped should stay on the racing line but slow down just enough to allow the lead driver an easy pass. Keep your racing line predictable and try to stay out of the way.

Example: If you go wide at a corner and a close behind car tries to take advantage of this by moving up the inside, you should leave room for them, whether or not they had overlap going into the corner. They must also leave you room. This rule doesn't apply to small errors that don't affect the speed, direction and outcome. This is a bit of a grey area and requires good judgment on both parts.
No I'm not putting these here for comment but for ease of access.
 
Yes that is what happen between car 10 and 57 last week. That happens quite often but the big straights we have this season are opening up some drafting duels and there are a few things we need to make clear. Wont take long.
 
Its just way easier to demo than explain.

Im already well into the 41`s . Altho this place is kind of a pain in the butt.lol
 
All I gotta say is search for grip grip grip.
 
wow you are doing 41's for 25 mins!!! holy crap!!!:bowdown:
so I guess we are doing 30 laps, now just have to decide if I can run 14 laps on a full tank on SM tires or SS tires for 16 laps :D:gtpflag:;)
 
Idk about the 25 mins. I havent worked on the long run. Still trying to dial it in bud.

I will be on trying to dial in my Renault F1 car, still having trouble with the DRS and braking. might even buy the Sunday night cars and give them a go again and see if I can stay on track or get lag f'd out in the first corner again.
I have a ton of friend requests to join the private lobbies in PCars this upcoming weeks racing..
 
Yea if you want to practice ill send you an invite. I might be able to lend ya a hand on that vette. I have a pile of notes
on the Z06 and ZR1 from where we visited Fuji back when we duked it out that season you had the SLS.

Hope everyone is enjoying this seasons car list. I have been studying lap time and you all would be amazed to hear this. We are currently closer in lap time than we ever achieved . Even the one make series I wanted to use as a gauge. Everyone is improving and the competition is closer than ever. 2 weeks to go ! Keep up the good work guys.
 
I'm planning a completely different strategy for Wednesday. I don't know about getting down to the 41's. I'm racing SNAIL Spec just to get myself used to closer racing and the need to run fast laps immediately. I think I've gotten too used to running time trials and the little line thingy has become a crutch that I need to break myself from. All good.

Servers were fine for PCars tonight. I didn't have any problem practicing earlier this evening.
 
10 million spent on R&D ! What could this mean for GT1 ? Could there be yet another class in the making ?
 
What are the room settings, I can't find them anywhere? I'm guessing wear is on fast? I'm doing some testing now to develop my strategy for tonight and on normal wear you can go forever so I imagine it's got to be fast wear. Right now I'm only in the mid 43's on SS tires. I can't imagine 41's that's incredible!

Ware is fast that is correct. No where is it written down what the settings are but it is everything from sunday night except the ware.

41's are totally possible for a lap or 2 no one will stay in the 41's for an extended amount of time. 42's, 43's are more realistic average lap times.
