I get your point Scorp. The other thing I'm wondering is how much future planning should we be doing on this platform. I'd love to do the old school races in theory, but I like Formula GT at the Red Bull Ring in theory...

With the PS Neo coming out in October and the VR headset (which I'm saving for). October would be our big send off for GT sport (if it is released in oct.)

I may be done either in Oct. or in the new year when Mass Effect Andromeda comes out. Not to say the league would be dead or shift immediately over to the PS4. I'm only talking about my presence with in GT6.
 
Oh I expect this series to continue in GT7. Maybe GT Sport for the Race Cars?

Looks good @JCH8r I completely surprised myself with the speed I had to be able to keep up with Chloe in the first stint. Now to try and learn the ways of one stopping

Yes for those who plan on switching to the PS4. I have started saving for mine whether or not I go to GT again is still be be seen. If GT doesn't step up their game I may get out of racing all together.
 
A reminder if everyone could test their previous best lap times (Twin Ring Motegi Road Course, Time 18:00, time x2 and Red bull Ring) against the new Hp restriction

Camaro -15 Hp

Lexus -5HP

Cadillac 0Hp

Bmw -15Hp

Jag -15Hp

Merc +10Hp

GT500 -15?

boss 302 -5Hp

I need to know before I announce the new season where the HP should be.

I'll try to test it tonight although I've already overhauled my suspension, diff, aero and power settings so it may not be apples to apples.

It's funny. If I hop into my camaro ss that is set to league specs but holding the generic settings, I'm competitive. As soon as I jump back in my boss, no matter what I adjust I'm 2-3 seconds off pace. This car is bonkers!

Thats ok I am only really looking at times so if you are faster than the target time I'm looking for, you loose power :) Best part... it's for next season so Your testing someone else's car!

My test results: RM tires

With Hp set at 545 for the BMW M3
Generally speaking, 0.75 sec to 1.00 sec slower at 1:32.8xx to 1:33.4xx per lap.

At 550hp the laps were at 1:32.2xx

And I know it would be INSANELY expensive but if we gave heads up ahead of time, do a race series between the 20,000,000 Ford, Ferrari, and Jaguar? Yes, I know it is only 3 cars to choose from but if there are 9 people signed up, only 3 of each car. 12 people, 4 cars, etc. How often do you really see those cars racing in GT6? Let's have some fun.

That's why I was saying we announce it way ahead of time. If you just do the Seasonal events with the 5 day bonus, you should be able to get the cars in a couple of months. This is assuming you have none of the cars.

As for grinding for credits, consider this: The 'expert' A-spec race pays 1.1 mil for first place with 5 day bonus. Run it once a day and that's over 30 mil in a month's time, run it twice a day and it's 60 mil, etc. You'll have 20 mil in short a time.

So I am filing an Ir notice that anyone who cut becketts (out of the white line after the rumble strip) will get penalised up to a maximum of 6 points. Any OB's where you lifted even partial will be declared safe!(because I'm nice) We are Snails we know the track boundaries and what is expected of us

I asked the remaining members within the club lobby before logging off and 2 out of 3 said yes it was a penalty!

I would imagine that out of 46 passes thru that corner, expect to have crossed the White Line with all 4 wheels at least 6 times. Haven't watched the Replay as yet - but will take some time this afternoon to Tally my errors at Becketts.
Still had a good time - no matter what the penalties might be. Probably earned every one of them.

Enjoy your Thursday, it's the only one y'all will get this week.
