Below are the 16 drivers with provisional entries into the All Star Race. The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race in the All Star Race by replying in this topic (no later than 8:00pm eastern on TUESDAY 4/14/15 so we can ensure the alternates can participate) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). I will update the list accordingly.

Parcells wont be making next weeks all star race.

Parcells also has zero allotted votes for next seasons cars but I would love to participate if the Lotus is chosen so consider this my plea for you bunch of awesomeness to place your votes towards the Lotus Elise. I beg of you, please grant me this one wish, lord knows I don't ask for much. :nervous:

Voting for Season 9 Race Car is now open!

Season 9 will be "Second Chance". The options below are from past seasons votes that did not earn enough votes to be selected.

Each driver will be allowed to cast 1 vote per number of races participated in previous season.
(If you raced in all 8 races, you get 8 votes. If you raced in 1 race, you get 1 vote)
Race Car earning the most votes by 11:00am Eastern Sunday 4/12/15 will be chosen for Season 9.

How much fun would the Lotus be at Eigar Nord and Mattehorn Drist, just saying!
I think that BMW has got to be the worst sounding car, too much rd and wind noise, again, just saying, lol.

I thought it was only me who felt the same.
 
I love the handling on the Lotus. The other two are good, but really stiff.

Never have so many I respect been so wrong about something so obvious. The M3, which I just tested after finding a race livery version in the Single Player section that unlocks the base model in the dealership, is awesome. Corners great and the sound is perhaps the best I've heard in the game so far, with best = realistic. What's different is that the engine pushes out crazy amounts of low end; if you have a ButtKicker this is the only car to vote for. Oh and Trucker, it's not that the other two don't handle well, is that the one with the Camry engine only provides the sensation of speed when cornering. The others, which do not have commuter car engines, require braking.

Though I am sensationalizing, it is all true, just not so extreme. I just had some beef jerky, and the embedded extreme-ness bubbles over.

I love BMW! I am sad that it sounds so different than other cars. I like hearing the rumble! But I do like the handling. But, I like the difficulty in handiling of the Lotus. I like it when you have to show your handling skill.
 
Will be starting up a stream this morning covering Season 8 of the Wed.Nite Race Car series. Lets call it "Morning Coffee". One of the two 40 min races at each location (4) of the season will be streamed while I drink my usual Sunday morning pot of coffee. No doubt your twitch broadcast is more exciting than this F1 race I'm watching right now (awesome start by Kimi!) with my Sunday coffee but I got to see this thing through. Then maybe last nights Supercross race, then maybe the twitch broadcast or a shower.
 
Please, before anyone responds to Parcells re F1, no spoilers, I am unable to see F1 until after the weekends. I have to download the race after the fact. Thanks.
