The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA Special Package) '89 (Comfort: Soft) at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (6 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Nicktune wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - RUF RGT '00 (Sports: Medium) at Cape Ring (4 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @JamCar0ne gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @WIDEeyedDRIVR so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Track Selection Guidelines

Of course! Do as you wish with it. I don't know if there's a way to save it separately from the news website. I'd rock some decals too :)

The sports reporter for WCCO-TV David McCoy did a great job. At first I didn't know exactly what he wanted to do a segment on. He came over to the track to shoot me race and do an interview, then he notified me that he has it in his head how he wants it and said that he'll come over in a week to shoot the second part. I just played along and voila...

Hopefully it'll serve as inspiration to others :)

I could see this going a little viral (at least within the gaming community). The effect could be a large influx of new racers to SNAIL. The piece was done very well and made racing in SNAIL look very desirable. Well done, this is excellent and well deserved exposure for the best racing league in the world.

Ahhh! Thrustmaster isn't going to cover my wheel under warranty. Gotta pull it apart tomorrow night and see what I might be able to fix. Going to do my best to not miss this weekend.

I'm curious to know what is wrong with the wheel. Touch wood my T300 is problem free, surprisingly because I beat the crap out of it.

Speaking of internet connectivity... Wired vs wireless discussion was brought up in a practice lobby. Do you find there to be a big difference between the two? Should we all be hardwired into our systems if able, to ensure a higher quality SNAIL experience?

Personally I've never been hardwired into my ps3, and my router is only 15ft away in the next room over. So I can't compare the two. I know with certain PC games, being wireless is a big nono as your registry to a server in-game dramatically decreases.

But even being hardwired on certain PC games, it would be absolutely unplayable if I were to be in the same server as turnupdaheat or vitessekid for example who are thousands of miles away. Competitive CS players on the west coast won't even play against people on the east coast due to ping difference. Yet in GT6 I have absolutely no problem with them on track as far as lag or skipping goes. GT6 netcode ftw?
