*Request to join club*

I like the setup of this club and would like if I could join. Also, are there some events that are longer distance races, such as 20-30+ min races?

@luchvk

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Division 5 Race Report
Congratulations to all of the winners. Great racing all around tonight. Thanks to all stewards, data recorders/uploaders, replay recorders/uploaders, scorekeepers for a job very well done in Snail. Had alot of fun. Not sure who is going to be uploading the scores for tonight, i will be uploading replays and who voted for what combo tonight.

Race Clean, Race Snail  👍

D3 replays are uploaded. I think it might be time for a USB drive. 20 minutes for the PS3 to copy to the USB drive, 5 minutes to compress to a zip file, and 20 seconds to upload to google docs.

Attention Div 3

1. Please confirm the vote entered in line with tcrash15. Is it a typo or does the vote actually belong to whatbadgerseat?
2. There is a typo in the Qually for Round 1 Race 1
3. Reminder, when a driver DC'd during a race he still gets last place points.

Attention Div 5

The votes can only be entered after the scores are done. Who will enter the scores?

IT's MONDAY!!!!!!

Now on a different line of thought.

Monday Night pack racing was created to be a pleasant, tight racing, place to learn the intricacies of door to door racing without the penalty of being LAST when you screw it up. The emphasis is on fun with Mikes open and chatter constantly letting you know who is where....and also to comment REALLY??? when someone is a bit over enthusiastic and thumps you.

Recently however it has gotten very quiet and very intense and way to "chippy". The Riot act has been read to all. If you plan to come race with us on Monday nights ...bring your smile:) and your laughs . Leave your fangs :mad:at home...oh... and we do not keep score so no one...and I mean NO ONE cares if you win. Not even us.

I think I uploaded a set of D1 replays in the public folder

You did. I just moved it over. We have replays from D1, D3, D4, and D5. If you are in D2, D6, or D7 and have uploaded replays, let me know where I need to look. If you haven't uploaded replays yet, the deadline is 8 PM ET.

I exported them to my usb last night but forgot to upload, I'll get those done after I get back from work (around 5pm EST)

They have been found, downloaded, put into one .zip file, and re-uploaded into the steward folder. Thanks for getting them uploaded. Going forward, could you please put all six replays into one .zip file and then rename that file using year, date, division, and uploader. Ex: 2015_10_11_Pubason

It makes it easier to find and easier to download the one file instead of the six files.
