One of the problems with the Nixim mod is how GT6 deals with max pedal travel limits. When you first boot GT6 and press the brake pedal, GT6 calibrates the max limit. If you don't press the pedal to its physical limit GT6 calibrates full travel with how far you did press it. You can test it by watching the brake travel indicator. Fresh boot of PS3 and fresh load of GT6, press the pedal halfway or so. The brake indicator/gauge should go full. When you exceed the previous set limit, GT6 re-calibrates. That "eraser" in the nixim mod will break down over time, not to mention probably change with temperature, and provide different physical limits which will in turn cause different limits to be calibrated brake press to brake press. It does provide higher resistance than the GTEye but, if consistency is what you're after, GTEye is the way to go.I know I'm a little late but check out the Nixim. I think it has the same type of spring as the gteye but it has an added component; essentially an eraser. You can probably replicate it very easily too if you decide to get the gteye.
