One thing that I was upset about is having to keep the same PSN name. This way my PS+carries over. Do you think I can just make another one and buy PS+ when this one runs out?

I imagine so, but your trophies obviously won't transfer (if you care about stuff like that)

when I get a PS4 I'll be switching my PSN name. Since I don't have PS+ that won't be a concern. However I believe you have to deactivate your PSN old name to add a new name to your email account.

With PS4, you MUST have PS+ to play online. Just FYI.

I recently created a new PS4 PSN account with new name. I just created a separate gmail account, actually two, one for myself and one for my son. Still have the original for PS3/GT6/SNAIL.

Why is my DFGT not working?

Everything is plugged in properly but the logo is flashing. What do I do? Kind of in a rush since practice is about to start... ahhhhh

I won't be getting a PS4 until it has games I want to play right now it's look like not until next year (Mass Effect Andromeda and MAYBE GT7) Really their are not that many games either out or announced for the PS4 that intrigue me other then Mass effect.

I was thinking of you going to the steering settings within the game itself in GT6. Maybe you can find if your wheel is listed or look under the Playstation 3's system settings to see if it picks up your steering wheel. Not sure what else you can do.
 
Of course the wheel is listed, it's made for the game. I said DFGT. If that was the case why would it all of sudden stop working?

The GT logo is flashing full, then trying to but stops, like a flicker, then repeat. WTF

Wheels are sensitive creatures. Has your wheel seen the new PS4? It could be protesting the possibility of being replaced soon. At this point, reassurance is probably your best bet.
 
I'm sorry but I have every right to NOT be calm. My wheel may have just broken and I don't have the money to buy a new one right away. I may be out of SNAIL for the first time in a very long time. That is a very depressing notion.
 
I think the "It's just a game" saying would come into play on that one... Someone offered you help, and you came back with what I would consider an absolutely rude response to one of the most kind and helpful SNAILs I know. Regardless of if @racingchamp30 was right or wrong, he still offered you help... Something you're going to find hard to come by if you keep going around doing what you just did.
 
You guys didn't get the whole picture so it seemed like a jump to an extreme, and for that I apologize. I joined the practice room before it started and Champ and Blixem tried helping me there first. I was asking here on the thread to get other responses and was kinda surprised to see the same person reply. So far everything they said was just unplug and plug back in. Being experienced with random issues before, that was a bit frustrating. Then his reply here just made it worse. He said "your wheel" like he didn't know what it was, even though in the room he asked and I told him it's a DFGT. Knowing it's a DFGT, one would know the game recognizes it. I'm sorry I lashed out but you can see now why I'm extremely frustrated :(

so return the PS4 and go get a new wheel instead they both work out to roughly the same pirce

Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
