If the car will run a mid-division lap time under 5 minutes and not red line then it's a valid suggestion. If you do some testing and see that it doesn't meet those requirements, you have permission to change your suggestion.

Eckerts Rod & Custom Mach Forty @ Special Stage Route X

This one is kinda like Talladega in Nascar.......You could race all divisions together and It's still anybody's race potentially.
Test the draft with a friend before disregarding this one.....It's a ton of fun for such a boring track.

We ran two races, both 3 loppers. First race was 2 cars.
first lap was 4:49
Lap 2 was 4:39 ish no draft
Lap 3 was fast lap of 4:36 in the draft

race 2 similar results with 3 cars.

no where near redline...barely an idle lol. We ran on RH as per the regulations

so to be clear my suggestion is
Mach forty at Special stage route x at 22:30 on RH with mid division lap time 4:37.500

So running with no draft or slip-stream, she taps out at 247 mph and lots of RPM left.....

There was only one suggestion from the drivers of D1 so it's going to be the Mach 40 at Special Stage X.

Since this came to fruition, I absolutely demand that everyone turns ABS off for this event. 😵‍💫🙄😬🤭

The prize A selection certainly simplified my practice needs. I don't suppose autopilot is allowed during racing is it? I have seen the host of Thursday's practice text newbies while on a long straight. I tried this at Route X and was able to get a beverage, have a toke, and still set a time of 4:37.

Sooo...this is going to be a draft-fest. I've only had minimal experience with roundy-round races, which seemed to end up quickly in bash and pass events. Is bump drafting the order of the day? Any hints? I hope I can make practice tonight just to see how this is going to play out.

Honestly I wouldn't count on trying to win. This one is basically a throwaway race for fun. All you can do is just put your foot down and stay with the group...you really don't control your fate very much. But I'm sure the fun factor will be high. But if you lose the draft you might as well park it ;)

As a steward, I would say bump drafting is fine. As long as the contact doesn't cause the lead car to lose control. The duo that can pair up and run the fastest will have the advantage. Find your partners!

I can't join Div 2 lobby, RacingChamp, but I can get in D1, Timlour. Suggestions.
