The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - LAMBORGHINI HURACAN GT3 2015 (RH) at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix - 06:05 Clear (9 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Nicktune wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - GRAN TURISMO ECKERT'S ROD AND CUSTOM MACH FORTY (RH) at Special Stage Route X - 20:00 Fine Weather (3 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @EvoSpecX gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Timlour so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

There is a correction to the results post.

The actual prize winners are as follows:
1st Prize winner = @Timlour and he has prize A
2nd Prize winner = @EvoSpecX and he has the choice to use or pass the freeze
3rd Prize winner = @MikeGrove and he will have whichever option is left

This week's prize winners are clear to make their selections. Good racing!

The IR Submission Form is now closed.

We have 1 incident on file. Target deadline for reviews is NLT 10PM Eastern on Friday, 10/8/21.

A conversation will be started with all prize winners that will contain instructions and deadlines.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me Prize B winner has a bit of a conundrum, namely the only car eligible for Special Route X is the Mach Forty. If the track is frozen, then the car is automatically the Mach Forty by default. Unless there is another car that works. This is why I don't win prizes...that, and I'm slow. :D

That right there is why some things shouldn't be done just because they can be done.

Also, freezing the car or track is prize C so the second prize winner has to option to pass the freeze to the third prize winner and let them deal with it.

Right. But, eventually a freeze choice has to be made; track or car?

Oh brother....Really......Ok so if the track freezes do you really think the MACH FORTY is the only car that will work there??
Come on guys, that's just not true, what about the vision cars....Mazda LM55 VGT-1,000,000(tops out at approx 290mph) credits, SRT TOMAHAWK X VGT- 1,000,000 credits (tops out at approx 378mph). That's just a couple I can think of, but I'm sure there's more.
Anyway, I'm done making suggestions for prizes.

The Mach 40 is probably not the only car that will work but it is one of a very small number. It's the same reasoning for not allowing the Nurb to be chosen. Not a large enough pool of cars to choose from if the track is frozen.

Nobody's fault but my own here. I was in a hurry to get a choice made so the combos could be set and didn't think it all the way through.

I'm just not really interested in another race at Route X. A combo where I had my best results of the night, by the way, 1st and 2nd (3rd?). I like to step on brakes and change gears.

I get that, I just wanted to change things up a bit and thought it would a great change of pace......Now I'm starting to feel bad that I enjoyed it too.

And 99.9% of the time you get what you want....and when you don't.....well I'll just leave it at that! I hope the freeze is on the car and the new track is a Tokyo layout....lot's of braking and shifting for you.

Hey now. Keep it friendly. There is no need to go wishing Tokyo variations upon others.

Total satisfaction on my part. It was a decided departure from the norm and I did watch replays of practice and I did have a cunning plan for combo 3, and it had merit. :)

Yeah...the Mach Forty at Tokyo...how far out do the braking markers go? :D:cheers: Every combo is a whole new head for me.😀

If anyone wants to help out @EvoSpecX with some possibilities for cars that will meet the requirements to run on Route X, go ahead and post them here. Hopefully he will see them and it can give him a place to start. Please only post ideas for cars that actually meet the requirements if you're going to try and help.
