I'm keeping with my recent themes of National Holidays and Independence Days for my Car-Show this week and opted for Brussels, Belgium.

It seems like July 21st is Belgian National Day where they celebrate their Independence which they optained from the Netherlands in 1831. (Thanks Google)

I had a pic for the car show but, my PC has euthanized itself... No, not the crowdstrike thing.
 
Noticed a lot more practice lobbies with good grids, sure for practice and too race, if anyone interested I’m going too start hosting, Bop/spec racing too recruit and place to chill and race.
Won’t be official Snail event but all are welcome

Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, SAMHAIN85, llNovall & Akzl298
as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

A friendly reminder...

Sunday Pre-race Network/PS/GT7 Maintenance

1) Clear GT7 Network Cache
2) Close game and shutdown PS
3) Turn off/disconnect all devices using home network
4) Power down router
5) Restart Modem
6) After modem has finished restart, power up router.
7) After router restart complete, power up PS
8) Run PS network connection test, if test normal next step, if not begin from step 1
9) Launch GT7
10) Go to Sport Mode and run connection test there, if normal go to multiplayer and find and join lobby. If not normal go back to step 1
 
Hoping to make it tonight but dealing with a bad shoulder so not sure how long it’ll hold out for.

Hosts may start on time, tonight. The only reason to delay start is to allow a driver already in the lobby their 3 minutes to sort out connection issues.
 
Scorekeeping for Division one has been entered.

On a side note - please wait to post your votes until after the scorekeeper asks for them. It makes recording them accurately much easier. Plus, it keeps them from getting lost in the post race chatter.
