Hey Snails,

I know it has been 8ish months since I raced but I did wanna pop in and share that I've graduated university (finally)! Thanks for the racing outlet and giving me something outside of school to look forward throughout recent years. Once things settle and I figure out work I hope to be back on the grid with you again!
Congrats!!!

I have read the first post and would like to join, and i found out about yourse8on gtplanet

@killerramsay

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing league:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to progress with your entry into the league:

  1. You start a conversation, by clicking this link, and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, llNovall, Akzl298 & Dragonwhisky as "Recipients".
    1. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".
  2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join SNAIL [Spec] Racing.
  3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
    1. All things SNAIL
    2. Original Post
    3. SNAIL OLR Policies and Guidelines
    4. Drivers List
  4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Did y’all decide? I have a back up car.
Let's go ahead and roll with your back up car. Does it have headlights? If not, you may want to revise your time of day as well.

Don't forget the lap time too please.

Question is this the final league night? Or we go into league night #5?

This upcoming Sunday will be Week #4 of August. Then a week with no racing due to Labor Day before we resume September Week #1 on September 7ht.

This brings me to the question, would anyone be interested in a two hour long endurance on August 31st since there won't be a league race that night?

Definitely something with 24 hour time and random weather would be cool too enjoy other aspects of GT7.

Don't forget, it's Thursday practice night. I'll open a lobby at around 9:10pm EST.

Running all three combo twice for next Sunday night, half distance and reverse grid. Race start at 9:30pm.

One replay of each combo will be uploaded right after the last race.

My status for Sunday - Probable.

I'll be heading to NC for a week again Sunday morning, so won't make it for race night. Practice lobby open.

Lobby closed, good racing tonight.
