So out of all the cars in gt6 the g37 I can buy but once I go to do oil change PS3 freezes. I have tried 4 times to change the oil every time PS3 freezes up what is happing??


Also if I try and join a room and the car there using is g37 when I try and join The PS3 freezes up

I have never heard of the 'if they are using this car, I freeze...'

Have they released more 'features' and downloads again?

Very close finish between myself and @singlepaddy during practice. Had lots of fun tonight during practice.
 
First race at Grand Valley, Lap 2, Turn 1. I overtook @Die_Birdy_Die on two wheels but it slowed me down enough for him to get the position back. One-wheel Drive is like half power lol
 
He was asking if that is what you wanted him to do, because the first lap is so long! he's looking for advice from his elder states men. God quit being such an 🤬!

He's not looking for advice. He already did it. I want policy followed and that is all. There was no problem back in May letting races go an extra lap and having the lower divisions go over 12 minutes. La Sarthe and Monza both ran longer than 12 minutes for the races.

We have rules and policies in place for a reason. It gives those in charge the ability to use them and not make questionable decisions that they have to defend.

You of all people should know very well that everything done here is volunteer work, and blowing up on people is eventually going to cause people to leave and retire from the job they're doing at SNAIL. By no means am I trashing what you do for SNAIL, I get that there has to be an authoritive figure to make things work, but I feel you crossed the line this time along with previous situations. Kindness goes a long way my friend.

I had replies for both of you written out but Bayou is right. It's too early in the morning to be in a bad mood.
 
To clarify and explain the policy for selecting number of race laps.

The formula for coming up with race laps was arrived at by breaking down an entire race night by the second. We took out time for everything that had to be done between races including countdown timers and race end timers. We took out 3 minutes between each race for results and changing of room settings and six minutes per round for qualifying. Once all that was taken out, there were 4410 seconds left for the six races. This is 735 seconds per race. The hard cap was set at 720 seconds per race and the policy was written as it sits now.

The policy is just a simple mathematical equation. You take an average lap time from the mid-division and you do the math. There is no allowance for the first lap being longer in the policy because there are 15 extra seconds per race to play with to cover that.

In this specific example at HSR, if mid division drivers are running laps averaging in the 1:11's (which if you're in D4, you should be) then the math dictates that the race should be 10 laps. The 8 seconds extra on the first lap will be covered by the 15 seconds that is sitting there unaccounted for.

Sounds like something to do with that cars code broke. If you can't buy a new one and get it to work, you may want to back up your game data and reinstall the game. If you have an old PS3 its possible a bit or two on the HDD may have corrupted.

If you're running 2:27-30 ish on lap one, you're going to have quite the hole to dig yourself out of. I don't mind discussing numbers and times but if you want to have that discussion, you need to bring realistic numbers to the discussion and not exaggerate things to try and make a point.

The first lap with the Caterham can be done in under 2:10 and that is more than covered by the previously mentioned 15 seconds.

That's it. Race like you're a GOD but understand you are not!

so often I join rooms that are so, I don't know, unorganized, un controlled, mismanaged, who know!

I am so Freaking happy I FINALLY!!!!!
Found a descent and real League.

It's your responsibility as the driver attempting to pass to keep it clean. The guy leading can start braking where ever he wishes.

Right from the Snail OLR

05: Running into the car ahead of you:

A: The behind driver must take all necessary care and responsibility not to run into an ahead driver.

B: In case you brake too late for a corner or partially lose control of your car, you must do your best to avoid making the loss of control into a bigger incident. Some contact may be unavoidable in these situations, but you are expected to minimize the impact of it to the best of your ability. If this means turning your car into a wall or off the track to avoid contact, that is what you are expected to do.

C: The ahead driver must not do any malicious or inappropriate braking or slowing. Leading cars MUST NOT EVER 'brake check' the car(s) behind them because they are following too closely. The ahead driver IS entitled to be slower or use longer and earlier braking zones than others. They are also entitled to turn in earlier or later and/or apex earlier or later. The ahead driver should not make a drastic or sudden change to their line through a corner.
