The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Spoon S2000 '00 (Sports: Hard) at Tsukuba Circuit (11 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @MajorBlixem wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro Chrome Line (Sports: Soft) at High Speed Ring / Reverse (10 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Whitey093 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Ph1sher so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Does the lack of a few replays really require that a driver be ineligible for prizes?

Why is it really necessary? & why is there no warning in the thread when stuff is missing?

If there's still time I'll upload what I have, but I could have done it this morning if I knew there was an issue

This is now the second time this sort of thing has happened to me & it really really blows.

I'd happily take a snail T-shirt or decal sticker or something as consolation.

After having 2 prize A's stolen away from me, throw me a bone.

It was an unfortunate and accidental collective oversight that the replays weren't uploaded. Oscar normally does the duty but he didn't race on Sunday. You won the night fair and square Mike and you have the respect of us all who participated for doing so and that is the important thing.

I can see where you're coming from but I'm not amused that your are insinuating that I stole prize A from you.

Not cool.

I don't think he means a person (you) stole it, more that the rules stole it.

I agree with he penguin, but only this one time.... I also feel bad for @MikeGrove . It was a tight battle in D2 last weekend. With the caliber of drivers currently in D2 it is not easy to get the win. 4 different winners this season. So, D2 let him down and we will have this as a reminder to double check that all the duties are filled, especially when the regular guy is not there for the night.

On a different note - has it ever happened that when Prize B freezes the track the Prize A winner took the car to another track? I don't think the rules prohibit him from doing that?

There are no rules against it but people would have things to say. I remember asking about this too not but a few months ago. I was asking if a combo gets eliminated but people liked it, can the whole thing or part of it be brought back by that week's prize winners. The answer is yes but "with so many cars to choose from why use the same thing again" was the argument against it. I say go for it. The Audi was a lot of fun and I'd like to see it tackle a real twisty track or something.

It's great at Mid-Field. I think it gets up to top gear in the draft but otherwise a smooth fast drive.

Mid-Field sorta reminds me of Watkins Glen. Anyone else?

Haven't driven WGI before but I have watched races there on Tv, don't recall any tunnels or towering mountains though...

Congrats to @Whitey093 for the overall win on Sunday.

Congratulations Whitey!

I don't have Paddy's technical prowess to make a pretty post, but I'd like to say a big congratulations to @basswerks1 on his first victory last night at Fuji! It was very well deserved with a slick pass at the first corner on the last lap after a race long battle with @MajorBlixem and @TEX36 ! I've enjoyed much racing with you Bass, you're a great driver and a class act.

In other news @Lessen's autocross suggestion went pretty well last night (Celica thread). We had four drivers show up and had a really good time taking our own streetcars to the course - where we could hit the wall and still drive them to work today. We will be having some more for sure.

Oh ya ! Totally. Especially the part of the track you push hard on the gas, then lift and brake to make the turn? It's almost like..if you close your eyes, you can't even tell which course you were on.

thanks buddy.... I'll take that beer now... lol

Oh, that was a conversation? I thought it was more of a comment about you suggesting a track for prize A and it feeling like another track. (That is nothing remotely close to the imaginary Mid-Feild Speedway)

I found my take on it funny and intended it to be taken that way. I added a smiley to the original post.

Yeah, Sorry DP I was just poking a little fun at ya, I get what you're saying and it does kinda feel that way I suppose

I wasn't thinking about prizes at all, just a random thought as I was going over Mid-Field in my head. Robbie, there's no beef with you, you're coming from a realistic standpoint. Tom was being a (funny in his mind) jerk.

And no Tom, that wasn't a conversation. Like I said, it couldn't even get to that point because you knocked it down. I guess it was a little funny, but maybe as the first reply to a serious topic you should have waited until someone else replied first.
