FUN FACTS
DID YOU KNOW THAT IN RUSSIA ITS ILLEGAL TO DRIVE AROUND IN A DIRTY CAR...THOSE CRAZY RUSKIES!!!

THE LAST PRODUCTION CAR TO OFFER AN OPTIONAL CASSETTE PLAYER WAS THE 2011 FORD CROWN VICTORIA.

THE CAR THAT SOLD MORE THAN ONE MILLION UNITS IN JUST ONE YEAR, A RECORD THAT STILL STANDS TODAY...WAS THE 1965 CHEVROLET IMPALA.

Chillax Practice for those that are not Champions..

1472 6681 3286 8588 8706

I like the Original ROC with full grid!

Different topic. Why do we rarely use Fuji GT? That one change really helps the flow. It's a high speed track and that hairpin/switchback is such a break in rhythm before the final section.

The GT-R Nismo is a great car it's just too damn heavy. That alone compromises what it is capable of when under stress. Damn weight transfer and physics. It's all that Einstein guy's fault. Or maybe Newton. Point is don't eat the apple that fell on your head. Yea, it's just heavy. And the Furai is too light! It wants to move around too much and with those elevation changes it's tough to keep straight. The track is great but with something like an Impreza or even one of the rally cars (we never use those!) and the car like you said would be good somewhere else. I bet Fuji would be a good switch. I'm rambling aren't I?

It's a draft fest so the faster drivers don't care for it; and it has tight, awkward, off camber turns preceding the most important straights making it difficult such that the slower drivers don't care for it. When neither care for it; it won't last.

It is a great course to study as it not only provides unique corners and those awkward approaches, but also with the camber and grip varying so much over the width of the track it forces adaptability and really teaches one how to drive and pass offline.

And the fact that it's so wide really allows one to do so. That's another reason I like it, it's just wide. Sure it's a tough track (yes that back section with the decreasing radius turns) but that's the challenge I like. Get it set up just right behind someone and you can get inside for the next one or really make a move for the main straight. I bet it would be great with a 500-550 4WD car. Enough power to get going, not too heavy so it can draft and handle well, and 4WD to make it easier for the slower drivers.

I chose F over GT at fuji to slow people down and try to force more awareness and better pass attempts. Ive found at GT that people often force their way under someone and send them up and off the track at exit. At F you can fight back against that. There's also the thing about policing people using the runoff area to keep momentum. I just felt F would provide better racing basically.

excuse me!, but the only car I would be found dead in car, regardless of make or model, would be if I owned one and it was so clean that on a very hot day, you could crack an egg onto the hood, let it cook just right, then grab a fork and knife and dig in! as if it were a plate!

However!, if you were to do that! You would most certainly require surgery!

So i had a weird experience in the roc last night, lets see if anyone knows what this is. To start off there was no lag in the room and everyone could see each other. In race 1 and race 2 i experienced a phenomenon where while i was racing (in bumper cam) my rear view mirror would disappear and then my car would behave strangely and start rotating while still moving forward and being pulled off line against my input and then it would just snap out of it and fix itself. It was disorientating and led to a couple offs and me having to bail out to let people by so i didnt affect them.

After the races everyone said i didnt lag at all and all could see me fine. I have never experienced this or heard of it. For race 3 it never happened and all went well. I dodnt save replays so i cant record it but if anyone else did, check it out and see if its obvious. It happened a few times in race 2 before i parked for everyone elses safety.

Call GHOSTBUSTERS!

Just watched my first Formula E3 race today. Other then the missing engine noises I really enjoyed it.
Good tight racing and watching them strategize with trying to save energy and switching cars half way through the race was very interesting..
Obviously this could be the future of motorsports...good stuff.

Hey everyone,
I just registered on GTP and am new to SNAIL. I just found out about it after lurking on GTP for a few years now and would like to join for some good & clean racing. Can I still get in for tonight's race? Please let me know. Thanks!

@Alexrider007

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
