Anyone ever heard of the glitch that starts you in the pit lane?

Happened to me tonight in the first race with the Fort GT. I could see my car in the lineup when the introductory screen came up, but when it went to count down I was sitting in the pit lane. I pulled away at the end of the countdown and the car turned left into the pit wall a couple of times and then started to accelerate down the pit lane and I joined the race at the pit exit. (I don't know if I had control while in the pit lane. My foot was on the gas, I changed gears and turned my wheel, but it could have been in sync with the auto drive - so, I don't know)

Anybody remembered seeing something strange happen? Was my spot open on the grid? Did anyone see me coming out of the pits?

Edit: I looked at Sam's broadcast and I thought I saw my car, but it was Racingchamp in position 6. My spot No 5 is open (see the video)

See the race clock and at 9.800 seconds into the race, Sam looks back and you can see me coming out of the pits...

Wow i remember you or someone else saying something about starting in the pit but i thought you meant from the back of the pack not actually in the pit. These glitches are getting weird.

In practice I froze in the pits, hit options came back and all was fine until I stopped on the track and froze in place. No throttle input at all but if someone tapped the rear bumper the car would get moving again but repeat the problem if I stopped. Several wheel issues yesterday and Saturday with several brands. I shut the game down, turned the wheel off, restarted the game then restarted my wheel which fixed the issue. Never had that problem before.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - TOYOTA 86 GR.4 (SS) at Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa+Miyabi - 10:00 Fine weather (4 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @M1SS-D3V10US wins Prize A, she gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @M1SS-D3V10US has already won Prize A this season, she is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless she loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 2 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D2 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @M1SS-D3V10US is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - FORD GT LM SPEC II TEST CAR (RH) at Circuit de Sainte-Croix - C - 15:10 Fine weather (3 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @SAMHAIN85 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @DublDee so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

All prize winners will be included in a conversation in the next few minutes that will contain instructions and deadlines. @SAMHAIN85 @DublDee

If you raced in D2, you get to make one, and only one, suggestion for prize A. You must make your suggestion by posting in this thread and you must be clear in your suggestion. You may not edit your post in any way that changes your suggestion so make sure you have it correct before you hit post. The deadline to make suggestions will be 11:59 PM ET on Tuesday night. At that time @M1SS-D3V10US will be clear to choose from those suggestions.

I realize you guys try to copy & paste as much as possible to save time. Do you think you can update the vocabulary to be gender neutral? This that too much to ask? Even race venues no longer say "Gentlemen, start your engines" they now say "Drivers, start your engines".

Can we please update?

Not race related in any way, but I’m pretty stoked about my new VariDesk in my office at work.
