That's not your choice to make. You executed prize B last week by choosing a track. You have wound up with prize B again this week so your prize goes up for suggestion from your division. This was stated in the conversation before you made your choice

He wound up with prize C this week not prize B? I executed prize B & froze the track.

Am I missing something?

If you raced in D1 this week, you get to make one suggestion for a car to take to Nurb GP. You must make your suggestion in this thread. You are only allowed one suggestion and you may not change your suggestion once it's posted (edits for spelling are fine but any edit that changes the car will result in your suggestion being disallowed). The deadline to make a suggestion will be 11:59 PM Tuesday. Once that deadline has passed, @src_ej6 will choose from the suggestions that were made.

So how did Mike not execute prize B by using the freeze instead of passing it? It's the first thing mentioned in the OLR under prize B.

If your point was I can't pick the new car both weeks that would have been a lot better way to word it.

You're both correct. It's worded poorly. Prize A is to replace one full combo. Prize B is to replace one half of a combo. Prize C is the freeze. The winners are ordered and the first prize winner is given prize A. The second prize winner is given the option to take prize B or C and the third prize winner gets whatever is left. One individual is not allowed to execute the same prize twice in a season. This is the way it's been done since we implemented the freeze as prize C.

Now I'm, ninja'd, but here are more words to say the same thing above...

Last week you had Prize B and you chose to pass the freeze, which meant you opted out of B and chose Prize C. This week Mike exercised Prize B and locked you in to Prize C, which means it has to go out for suggestions. If Mike froze the car, you still would have been locked into prize C and the tracks would have gone out for suggestions

There is nothing wrong with collaboration between prize winners to get a good combo. We even encourage that. What you should have done is for Mike to pass the freeze, you freeze the track and Mike choose the Porsche.

Obviously the wording is very confusing. I will change it reflect what we have been doing since we implemented the freeze as Prize C.

If you follow enough of the links in the prize description, you will see this explanation for prize C:
I had an idea for prize C last night. 💡 What if we gave prize C a "freeze play" by which I mean they can choose a part(track or car) to stay, or freeze, for combo B. This would actually be a prize instead of just the tie breaking vote, which rarely happens.

So if you win prize C you can have a say in what part of combo B stays, the track or the car.

@MikeGrove exercised the power of prize B to "steal" the freeze play from the prize C winner, leaving the prize C winner with prize B of choosing the replacement car. Clear as mud.

The issue lies in the fact that we are still using old nomenclature for the prize winners. The prizes are A, B, and C. The prize winners need to be referred to as 1st, 2nd , and 3rd. It's leftover from long ago and just needs to be updated to fall in line with what has been discussed and utilized.

Thanks everyone for helping clear that up.

So am I clear to choose now or do I have to wait until all suggestions have been made?

Due to the confusion, we all know what you're going to choose so you might as well make it official now.

The wording has been changed, and shortened, that explains how we award prizes. I'll paste it here.

Each division's highest scoring, prize eligible, driver is eligible for a prize. A prize is awarded to the prize eligible drivers with the three highest adjusted scores. They are ordered from 1 to 3 (this will show as A to C in the results post with A being 1 and C being 3). The eligible driver with the highest adjusted score gets Prize A. The eligible driver with the second highest adjusted score has the choice to take prize B or C. The eligible driver with the third highest adjusted score gets whichever prize is not taken by the 2nd prize winner.

In the event that fewer than 3 divisions race on a given night, the prize winners will be determined by the highest finishing prize eligible drivers in each division placed in order as stated above. The additional prize winner(s) will be determined by the highest scoring remaining prize eligible drivers regardless of their division.

Prize A: The right to select the new car and track combo to replace the combo that received the most elimination votes.

Prize B: The right to choose the replacement element (car or track) of the combo that received the second most elimination votes.

Prize C: The right to "freeze" one element (car or track) of the combo that received the second most elimination votes.

An individual may only win the same prize one time during each season. In the event that the same person wins the same prize multiple times in a season, that prize will go up for a suggestion process from the other drivers in that division. The prize winner will then make their choice from those suggestions.

Wow that was fast. all 3 combos "picked" before Wednesday and all 3 look to be fun and competitive that's some good choices to run and should be competitive

We know what it's going to be, but it is not official until it is officially posted.

So far he has to choose between
Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

and

@src_ej6
Well here's my suggestion, which should simplify things:
PORSCHE 911 GT3 RS 2016

@src_ej6 as you can see above you may go ahead and choose unless you want to wait out the deadline in case something else exciting pops up.
