I would like to join snail racing. My psn I.d. is Hazardous-Fury-

@Biohazard2468

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL :cheers:

I just got a call saying we're closed tomorrow too. I asked about getting paid he said it's up to the regional manager but we probably will. So I'm off tomorrow too. I'd rather have gone to work and have it pass the time. I'm getting bored sitting here all alone. Running out things to do.

Well....seems like they all like this throphy.

Greetings SNAILs!
Just dropping in to say Hello and give an update. This year started kind of strange in many ways. not sure if you guys heard that a Metro Train caught fire; I was in it... got 'smoked' for about an hour without being able to evacuate. Made it fine; but definitely was not a fun experience.

"http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...12/lenfant-plaza-station-evacuated-for-smoke/"

In other news; I need to get my PMP certification soon. Do we have any Snails that have recently taken the test? Please PM me on the side if you do. I put it off last year and now it is crunch time; will need to reapply but shooting to take the exam by March 31st or early April. Then I'll be moving to CISSP.

Missing the racing, but very little time lately.

@JLBowler you can put me as a part time driver. Won't be able to make every Sunday as I need to do a lot of review but should be able to make at least 2 Sundays.

@Rednose58 pretty nice pics man!

Glad you made it out Ok Wolf.

Hey I just wanna share some of my experience:

In the humbleness of my lense, (remember to bring more batteries next time) It was a very fun and tight race!!!

Still amazes me how close it had to had been to have the first three cars within less than a minute and a half after full 24 hours. So stupid the final for the No.10 Corvette DP it actually made me a little bit angry.

To all SNAIL Scorekeepers and Data Entry Specialists;

You know who you are. Please review these two presentations by clicking the respective links below. If anyone is interested in filling the requirements for either of these 2 jobs, feel free to have a look as well. These instruction sets have been updated to reflect the new and shiny SNAIL Sunday Scoring (previously known as S.N.A.I.L. Directors' Points Tally and Elimination Votes - New) and SNAIL Data (previously known as S.N.A.I.L. Results - New). The new sheets are not "live" just yet but the instruction presentations will familiarize everyone with the new look and where you will be entering data and how. Scorekeepers, please take particular note of the need for you to enter pole times and total times. Data Entry Specialists, you will now be asked to enter the starting positions for every driver from every race.

Without further ado, I give you the new, imminently cool looking;

SNAIL Score-keeping 101

and

SNAIL Data Entry 101

If there are any questions or concerns, please send me, @Dragonwhisky, a PM.

Thank you.

NEW TOP GEAR!!!

I missed it, but...

If you didn't like Science Projects when you were a teenager... You needed a cooler (curlier?) Dad...

Son has his Smelter working... And I go to bed, warm, and loved. One of my best days. Evah.

;)

I can catch one later, not the other.

Smelting... hmm... I have a metal shovel with a slice in the side. If I had the right equipment I could weld it back together right? I'm trying to use my dad's old vice grip mounted to the workbench to flatten the edge for better contact with the cement under the snow.

Well you have nothing to do put some snow storm pics on here lol hope the power don't go out.
It's not so bad for me. I'm in Bellmore, NY if you want to do a weather.com search or something. It's too dark now for pictures. I'll try to remember tomorrow morning.

Fourth lap battle for position 10, 11, an 12 out of 13. Three wide thru the hairpin. No one gave an inch and we all held our line. Next and final lap for same positions we ended up three wide again after the chicane into the two right handers.

Clean and close the best racing of the night for me. This why i race with SNAIL, not to win but for moments like these were you feel your heart miss a beat , the palms get sweaty, all while holding your breathe. RESPECT
The pictures loaded backwards. I changed that before loading. My view in files is correct, however when loaded they show last first. Anyone know why?

To appreciate the close racing just view the above photos from bottom to top, sorry.
Thanks for posting! Now you just need to turn that into a gif :)

I wish I had BBC so I could watch Top Gear. I haven't seen a new episode in years :(

Do you get Netflix or Amazon Prime? I think Netflix has up to season 20 or 21? If you don't have Netflix you can do the 30 day free trial, watch as many as you can and then cancel it. lol Not that I have done that or anything.. :embarrassed: Just an option. 👍
