@yogi bear

I just thought of something for the pit stops. Do you request the pit stop before you enter or do you just enter?

If you do not request the pit stop then your crew will only come out of the garage when you are close to your box. That's maybe the reason why you have difficulty finding your box because the lolipop man is not there to wave you down. Your pit stop will also be longer.

If you do the request and your stop is still slow, fire your crew....

Thank you for your applause fellow Lobanaro lounge racers. From the bottom of B group last week to the top in a single bound. Were you guys laying down to help me rebuild my self esteem? If yes, I appreciate it. Don’t know how you orchestrated such a difficult task? How did you get Lehman to not show up? (Is snow his cryptonite?)
According to Robert’s Rules of Order, I hereby move that we institute snow to every venue that has a climate allowing snow and cars that can be fitted with snow or ice tires for 1of the 3 races. JUST need a second . . . [long pause] . . . David?
(Also need each to overlook this isn’t a parliamentary proceeding.)

Congrats Rob.
......As for "According to Robert’s Rules of Order, I hereby move that we institute snow to every venue that has a climate allowing snow and cars that can be fitted with snow or ice tires for 1of the 3 races. JUST need a second . . . [long pause] . . . David?"....I have one thing to say.

You were untouchable last night Rob, good job.
I was honestly scared that you all would hate this combo......I guess I shouldn't have worried, it was a blast that made for some awesome battles all over the track. Me and Bear were stuck like glue on glue all night.
I need your feedback on the 4 race setup......yes? No? It's only more work for Aerostat to score another race and we kept on time all night as well finishing before 11.

Glad to hear you guys had fun in the snow last night.

I know some of you have read this on FB but I’ll post here as well.
As a follow on to last weeks post I met with the surgeon this morning.
A lot of questions were answered and it seems I've fallen into the 5-10% failure category. So the bone wasn't healing fast enough which was allowing the muscles to pull and just all my movements finally bent the screws and now they are actually broken. Best fix for the long term is to remove the pin out of the bone and all the hardware including the broken screws. Then they will put in what's called a hip blade plate. It has an angled top that they insert into a channel they make, then it continues down the outside of the femur and gets attached with screws all the way down. I have about a four hour surgery that is planned for Thursday at this point. Supposed to be admitted to Civic tomorrow. A short recovery time and then hoping I go home to convalesce.

I’ll get the scores up tonight.
Edit: ok, in the am for sure!

At least you got your answers now Steve so you know what's up and what you need to do so that in itself is a relief.
Keep plugging in there bro and get it done. Will probably work out for the best. Before you know it this time shall pass.
One small step for mankind. One stronger leg for Stevo.

I watched a good portion of Mike's feed, him and Bear went at it pretty good all night and kept Rob honest in race 4. I saw race 1 of Red's and it looks like some good racing between the top three there was had as well the rest of the night. Man I'm missing this :(

I quote Mike, "I need your feedback on the 4 race setup......yes? No? It's only more work for Aerostat to score another race and we kept on time all night as well finishing before 11." Thanks for having me have to add columns and titles ect, geezz :banghead:
I still think for most nights we stick with the formula that has been working so well for so long now, but there is certainly nothing wrong in changing things up once in awhile either, which is kinda what we have been doing all along.
Nice redemption this week Rob!

Congrats to @The__Camel, this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the Group A win
Congrats to @Rob Brown, this weeks "Mr. Baawesome" for the Group B win

The snow was a lot of fun hope you guys do it again soon

I think the 4 race setup is fine. I really liked it when you guys had the reverse grid back in the day....of course reverse grid works better with the 3 race setup as the races are longer. Anytime a race is shorter it will help the racing be a little closer. What truly helped that racing be close the other night was the lack of power the cars had. Any time you have cars that have a lot of power and someone figures out how to best get that power down the fastest......they will check out. I cant think of anything you guys have ever done that I didnt have fun with.....other than running Road A or Road B cars. Those cars are an absolute joke........if a $100,000 + car handles like that then they would never sell them. You will never get good racing with those cars.

That's my two cents on everything.....I'm appreciative for all you guys do and glad I can be a part of it when I can

So it looks like road A and B cars for this week, just for David....thanks for the suggestion.
We dumped the reverse grid for a reason. Chaos almost always erupted when the slower cars were up front at the start of a race. I think qualy is the only fair way to go. If you want to start up front.........get better Bro.

Seriously........achtung, achtung......this week we will all speak German and race Volkswagens at the

Nurburgring.
A guys in the GT4 Cayman

B guys in the 911 GT3

I've tried to stay away from GT3 cars in the past because almost every public room runs this class. The A guys get the Cayman cause it's a little more twitchy than the 911 and because I said so.

Mr. Baawesome weighing in . . .
3 or 4? Yes, mix it up, keep it fresh. I would really like how I heard you did it early on: Announcing track, car and weather just beforehand as it puts everyone on equal ground. It’s especially helpful for guys who don’t have time to practice. Of course, some guys really appreciate some practice and some strategy preparation. So, it’s OK to mix it up. Seems majority just enjoy the trash talk combined with a little driving of cool cars!

Heard my name.
I feel allyuh badtalking me with all that german.
Now that’s just paranoia. Google has good translation, just copy/paste.
Im jeden falls, es war ein Regel von Mike (Deutsch zu sprechen).

Ok. I had fun...even tho it was front wheel drive. .. don't be making a habit of it.

I just enter...I'll have to find out how to request a pit stop..

Oh that's surely given you some issues Bear. I ALWAYS call out my pit prior to pitting. The weird thing is that Crew Chief always sees it as a drive through penalty and says: "Aw C--- !(male chicken), we just gotta' drive through penalty." But the screen gives you a yellow "Pit In" banner so you know your crew is expecting you. All this time your pit crew is like: " I don't know what his friggin' problem is. He never even let's us know he's going to box! He just rolls in and expects everything to be ready for him. This isn't a friggin' McDonalds or Sushi-King drive through here!"

I actually fired up the PS4 tonight to check my status before I go see Doctor next week. Let's face it, everything hinges on whether or not I'm healthy enough to sim-race, right? :dopey:. So I figured, depending on how I felt after an hour or so of racing would determine what I tell Doctor with regards to how I'm progressing. So I did a 20 lap race at Sonoma GP in the Formula Rookie (shout-out to @RobbiefromBC !). Man, did it feel good to really throw a car around and race again. I just finished and I have to say my left leg is, like, on fire!. From my upper hip blade all the way to my toes it's just pins and needles. Not a great sign. Obviously I'm irritating some nerves. Good feedback for my Doctor nonetheless, but I don't think it's quite time to get back to racing yet. Unless, who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll feel great  (cue Aerosmith song). Since it's still fired up, I may as well check out some of the new content. I've actually been out so long I haven't seen the LeMans or Ferrarri DLC packs. So there's a lot of new game here for me to check out - but just a little bit more tonight. Baby steps.

I just drive in the pit when I need to also for pit stop and never had a problem with it. I think it's just a matter of what you have in settings. In settings I have mine selected for entering...Pit Crew to Full with show lollipop sign or whatever. And the option to allow for mistakes is Off so no chance of mistakes for one's jollies.
