I just set up a race in the public rooms (no takers) and discoverred something interesting. Rain started halfway through the race- I hadn'rt set up a pit strategy, and my tune has tires set to 'automatic by weather'. I went into the pits with slicks and came out with and voila - Rain tires! I don't believe it's always been like that has it?
Yeah I noticed that too. The "Automatic by weather" seems to be working well now. I also like how the names of whatever compound shows up too for verification.

Formula Renault? I thought we were running the f1 ripoff?
I posted the results a page back but Report #2 is always up to date.

Which way are you going the move drivers if you can't feel a group? I like the formula R, so I hope it stays.
We won't be doing that again. If only three from one group showed up, then so be it.

Great racing tonight guys, nice clean starts all night as well.

In Grp B, a big congrats to @GTLehman for finally getting that elusive win, way to go Shaun! It was a close battle for the overall win, but the FNG, @dret7277 , got his first win and the overall win, all in his second night of racing with us, good stuff Nick!

And Grp A, who cares, as Mike always says, lol. Pretty much status quo with Robbie taking yet another overall, that's now six out of the last seven weeks!

Congrats to @RobbiefromBC , this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the overall Grp A win

Congrats to @dret7277 , this weeks "Mr. Baawesome" for the overall Grp B win

What happened to @sgohsixthree in the last race? Saw he dnf’d

Vaper, I’ll say it again. You sure can set up a frickin car, after you graciously shared your tune the car was on rails. The was absolutely nothing I could do to upset the car like in the first race. Even in the rain, I was glued to the track. Brno is a super fun layout and is super wide so there was lots of room to get around the group b guys

Hi Everyone,

Could I join your Monday race nights please?
Welcome Woofer, just want to confirm you realize we start at 8pm EST, so 1 am for you.
All you need to do is read through the first few posts as that has the info you need to know about the Lounge. Then send both me @aerolite and Mike @Mike Lobban a friend request so we can get an invite out to you on race night.

Thanks Robbie I really appreciate it. I love tuning, while in collage I was helping my uncle on his race team and we won a lot of track championships and large events in our area. I love building shocks, scaling and even matainance. I also designed new suspension components and modified the flywheel and bellhousing into a forced air turbo system to bypass the rule that was in place that banned turbos and super chargers, they had to rewrite a few rules because of us lol. But I am done with school and I design firer trucks now so it's nice to have a game I can fulfill my passion. I also hate dominating an event I love side by side racing that's why I shared it. I wasn't looking to win I just want to have fun and Harrass sgetti lol.By the way the laptimes we were pulling would get a top 30 at that track.

Hi David33

You been driving long? are you an aggressive driver like me and keep coming off the track :)
I would say about a year or two between Gran Turismo and Project Cars. Started with Gran Turismo then to Project Cars 1 then Project Cars 2 when it came out and mainly race Pcars 2 now as I find it offers so much more.

As for my style of driving I'd like to think I'm aggressive but safe.

Cannot agree more with the setup last night. With my own I was in the 1:47's With the last race I got a solid 1:43. I was actually 1 sec up on that before I made stupid spin. (My finger got trigger happy and I pressed the DRS button to early coming out of the last corner..... $%^#@ !!)

Nice racing against you in the wet. I tried to keep a tight line in the corners and for some reason I could get on the gas early out of the corner without spinning out - giving me enough momentum to get to the next corner before you. If I'm fighting for position, my moto is that I will make it as difficult as possible for you to pass, but try and keep it clean. Usually I can only do it for a few laps before I make a mistake and the fast guy get by easily. I hope I was clean enough for you to feel you had a challenge.
If anyone would like help or pointers on a setup for any car I will be glad to help. @yogi bear
ill send you a camaro setup soon.
I want to take you up on your offer: Can I please get some pointers for the Group A Audi on Sporstland Sugo in very foggy weather on a spring morning? Tire wear is set to accelerated. Race will be approximately 45 minutes..... I need it for Sunday morning.

The DRS bit me as well, all three races if I came up on a slow car and matched there speed on entry by lifting early I would forget to touch the break lol. I can see what I can do with the Audi group A is my fav class send me a freind request and a ps message with the details above is there fuel restrictions? Do you want fast or stable? Do you hate anything about how the car acts? Anything you think would help.

Project cars 2 is just brilliant, I was bought Forza 7 at Xmas and thought it was just a little to much about looks and not much realism

Goddamn Exit Button at the end of qualifying got me yesterday. Pressed it by mistake (I blame the weed). After that was so pissed I hanged up for the night. Love driving that car.

Vaper, I saw you sent the setups my way only at the end of quali for the wet race, was looking forward to use it. Thanks.

If you make one for the already dominating Audi, than I think it would only be fair to make a tune for the poor rear wheel drive only Mercedes 190 DTM if you have time, of course.:lol::odd::odd:

No fuel restriction, I prefer hard slicks, I really like the Mercedes, just tough to race the Audi in the wet. We have some more races coming set in rain.

Just as Robie and rednose have stated, that Renault was a dream to drive. Handled like a big go-kart.:bowdown::cheers:

@Aero: I got the motorcycle sim rig started. Right now it’s attached to an old Wheelstand Pro. The PS2 to PS4 emulator is a little tricky. I’ve got to mess with the programming a little more since the PS2 didn’t have all the options the PS4 has as far as buttons go. For example: X on the PS4 is R2 on the emulator/handlebar. I’m having an issue with it not recognizing the throttle twist grip as the accelerator (I’m currently running the throttle via the X button). The set up works with Ride 2 and is much better than a controller and it’ll be better once I finish programming it. I’m only into it for about $50 not including the Wheelstand that I already had laying around. If I get it all to work properly, especially on IOM TT when it comes out next week, I’ll build an actual motorcycle styled rig once I move to Texas. Please let me know what you had in mind for your rig. I like the idea of being in a riding position on the rig vs a sitting/car position.

I totally understand CB, happened to me last Monday, and on Sunday. With me I figured out it was pressing on the gas pedal at the wrong time immediately ejected me.
I put a post on gt planet titled self destruct button. Hope SMS pays attention and fixes it...
