It was shut because the person in front of me reacted to the person in front of him who reacted to the person in front of him. I understand restarts are huge in the real world but on these sims we aren't dealing with professional drivers and I personally feel that we should give everyone at least one corner to see their surroundings before we start shooting inside and outside of them.


That's my two cents and I think it will cut down hugely on these restart wrecks

Aside from this week, starts and restarts have been flawless from what I’ve seen. I don’t think there’s any need to wait a corner or two before we can start racing eachother. When the green is called the race is on regardless of if we’re racing professionals IRL or the average joe in game. I’m not trying to deflect any responsibility or ruffle feathers or whatever, like I said I screwed up, and the next time a similar situation arises I’ll know what to expect

Not trying to make a big deal out of it or even argue with you at all but I've started in the back a lot. I would not say the restarts have been flawless. Far from it. I broadcast every race in the lobbanaero league. Not saying what you have done on your restarts are your fault by any means.....you are doing what you should......it's some others that don't expect it or even anticipate it even coming. So not trying to put anything on you. I have had hundreds of opportunities to do the same. I choose not to because what can come of it and I take pride in not wrecking someone else or causing them to loose control whether I'm in the wrong or they just lost control. If you look at my broadcast tonight I could have jumped straight inside Sgeti on that restart....would have been like taking candy from a baby because he was so wide to the left.....but out of respect for him I chose not to just in case he had to make an abrupt move because what someone in from of him could have done..Which is what happened and I caught the brunt of it. Honestly I don't care either way. You do you and I'll do me. Sorry I brought it up. I most likely shouldn't have been there tonight anyways.
 
Lobban was talking about this week’s winner getting his “baaawesome balls” if they met the challenge of being #1 in Group B. I hope this isn’t what he had in mind...

Yup! Two flights today. Beautiful day for it though - 90% clear, could see each island (90 miles) shortly after takeoff. I'm doing our new guy's 'Initial Operating Experience' training, so I have a bit more time to look around than normal, which was great because we got to do the visual approach that takes us right over Ford Island (Pearl Harbor). Always really cool, and also very poignant.
I hope you all had a great night - I will be there next week for sure - Night shift - and the week after I'm off!

Enjoy Austin Gutter, and congtats on retirement! I was only in Austin for a few days during the Inaugural GP (Apparently Steve and I were mere meters apart at some point. He might have been the funny-walking one, but there were many of them since there were only three bathrooms at the entire track (but 20 serving stations!). Downtown Austin was really cool, and it will be a great place if you want a big city.
Bear - We used to happily dive in 63' water with 8MM wetsuits. Now anything less than 75' water sounds horrid with anything less than a drysuit.

Well another interesting night in the snow, I had fun, regardless of my first time finishing last :banghead: :lol:

And what was up with all the A wankers and their wreck fests at the starts, while us cool, calm and collect B guys stayed the course and had to try and pick our way through, albeit with some unsuccessful attempts :banghead: :boggled: :confused: :eek: :irked: ;) :lol: :lol: :lol: .........

We had two new first time winners last night, Vaper got a win, and Mark got a win and an overall victory for the night, way to go guys 👍👍

Next week it's back to our regularly scheduled affairs.

The broadcast are of my view only David. Every single one are on my YouTube page. I'll get you a link to it but it may be pretty boring to you unless you just want to watch me race. You can certainly see how some of the wrecks on the restarts happen

Last night from my POV. Congrats to Mark for taking the Baaawsome beads for the night. It gets easier inserting them second time around.

Group A......who cares..

We might have to start a new group......group C, just for Aero. Wa wa waaaaa.
Where was David? The big wussie. Aero needed the competition at the back.
We might have to change Aeros name to Dyson....cause he sucks so well.
He sucks so well, he sat on the crapper and the water got sucked up his keester.
Look up "Who sucks" on the net, it brings you to Aeros website.
He can suck start an LMP car.
When he flys, he doesn't need an engine, the hot air from sucking gives him lift.

Too many and not enough time.

We are cooking up a storm for next week.....and not a rain storm. I've had this idea for a while now and we will try it this Monday. Aerosuck will announce the combos in the next day or so. All I will say is get your tunes set for a really fast and hang on tight night. Will Mark have to lube up for a second insertion? We will see.

Who do you think you and Mike are kidding? I could see and hear the two of you planning and plotting last week of how to screw with those really hip n cool "A" guys. Lets give them snow ice and high horsepower. You met your goal , congrats. :bowdown::cheers:

That was a tough night on the arms and wrists . My wrist have not hurt that much since,.... never mind.

Oh well, we still have the MotoGP grid girls, they always show more than the F1 girls anyways.
As much as I liked the line up of girls on the way to the podium, I’ve always thought it so korny the way they all clap, and the drivers don’t even give them a second look. It would take me an hr to get through them!

Man, pretty soon they won't be selling alcolhol or delicious unhealthy food... no reason to go at that point. Oh, the cars... forgot about those...
