Ouuuuuu what a night. A guys have got to drive this car, stay tuned to this channel. The tune was weird, it seemed to change during the race, the oversteer I had tuned out came back to almost bite me a few times.
David... you were pulling away from me at one point and it was pissing me off....really, you drove like a racer last night, well done.
Gutter, where you at bro? We miss your gentlemanly presence.
I think I'm gonna save this Trainwreck weed strain just for race nights....the perfect blend of oblivion and concentration to put me in the zone.

This is bad....so bad.

Next week...
Scary fast race cars....with grip and downforce and all the other goodies that make modern racing so much safer but scarier.

Thanks. Yeah that was one nice chase we had going on there. I remember it well. By happenstance I happened to be ahead of you (prolly because you had some earlier mishap or happened to start behind). Realising this I said to myself..."Self, HAA, look I ahead of Lobbie...betcha a twenny the bugger eyeing me up there and inching to catch up". So I kept gunning it watching you cokey eye and giggling to myself. Think I remember saying "catch me nah yuh bugger you". And then you eventually caught up and passed me. Was so much fun I laughed like hell as you passed and tipped hat. Quite enjoyed that tussle right there.

Hey Guys,
Sorry no scores up today, will get it done by lunch tomorrow.
I've been feeling a little bummed out today as I realized I'm going to be in the hospital now until October. I know Mike mentioned to a few of you that I had a fall last week. I was lucky that all is ok save for some bruising. I tweaked my knee a bit which has put me back close to a week, but I'm back to about 80% of where I was before the fall. I was thinking that a few more days and I'd be on crutches by end of week and ready to go home a week after that. So my physio girl brought me some crutches to try today and I am nowhere ready for them yet, it was a big eye opener. Oh well, I have to take it as it comes, they still remind me that even three months is an amazing recovery time for the amount of injuries that i sustained. I was just getting cocky and it was a lesson learned.
Still, must keep the spirits high. I enjoyed watching the first two races last night and sending out some messages.
Well, must go, seriously buzzed now and not sure how this post will sound, will have to wait until the am and probably edit.
Cheers for now!

Went to that game of thrones kings road nonsense, so many Americans absolutely bewildered by a few trees. It’s an actual road with traffic but nobody seemed to care.
And I’ve a bunch of sheep for mikes special folder.
But I thought that sign was funny so I had to post it.

Doesn’t seem to rain here as much as I expected, once in 2 weeks lol

WTF David. Real race cars don't have fenders. Oh well, could be worse, could be GTSpurt . At least we FINALLY get to race COTA. If it's the devil track, all I can say is I got some sympathy for it.
Nice combo, should be a challenge. @GUTTERBOY3007 - you sure as heck in tarnation better show up Monday pard. Less we send the Twin Peaks gals to hawg-tie yer bald butt and strap you too yer rig.
Crank the Alan Jackson boys, we're goin' to Texas!

Does anybody out there have race 3 results, lobawanker stopped his feed before showing results!

:gtpflag: Results :gtpflag:

First of all, WOW! Slobban actually got next weeks combo announced before I got the scoring done, ha, that just means my meds are better :p

Second, thanks for the race 3 results Shaun, also for the link. I have a hard time finding your particular twitch site, then when I do it's hard to find the feed from Monday night. I know I've done it before so maybe its the meds!

Anyways, some close scores last night, and it looked like it was a bit more fun for the B guys! Would be good if more of you had feeds up, what I do is open multiple tabs with each one displaying a feed, then I mute all of them except Shaun's twitch feed as it has all the voices. And of course I throw in a few distracting messages, lol. I don't think mine come through to your screen do they Mcinnis? It always just says a message has been "sent to you" on the Twitch screen.

Congrats to @SGETI , this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the Group A win
Congrats to @sgohsixthree, this weeks "Mr. Baawesome" for the Group B win

COTA!?! Hells ya’ I’ll try to get to Monday’s race. I finally put (most) of the home theater/game room together. I’ve just got to fine tune a few things. Now I’m ready to start racing with you guys again.

That's just MEGA!
Sweet room gutter, I see what looks like a nose of a vintage lotus in the Clark's Pit Stop, so it must be something to do with Jim. What is that?

Wow, what a great room. Love that you've got it finished out in posters of my favorite movies. Now, I am inspired....

Oh.. and 'Try to make it'?

So, listen to Yoda. I'm off and need someone to race against!

Thanks guys, it’s a fun hang out area. And just an FYI: those aren’t hemorrhoid pillows on the chairs! Lol. Even though I’m almost a BOB and could probably use a butt pillow, they’re actually airline neck support pillows that are nice while leaning back watching a movie. I’m almost done with the motorcycle sim rig too, just got to finish wiring a few things up and then get some fairings for it. It’s odd in the photos that the Senna poster looks messed up, it must be a lighting and camera deal. And the Clark (my last name) pit stop sign is one my wife had made for me while she was in Hong Kong. It was part of my old home theater that led to the game room/bar area/bathroom areas (hence “pit stop”). I’ve been spending time working on my cars and going to the track. COTA is getting an Indy Car race next year so I can’t wait to see if they use the same track configuration so we can finally compare Indy/F1 lap times (they’ll probably modify the course layout to prevent that). And IMSA is coming back, so my dance card is going to be full!

@Aero: That was a downer hearing that you fell and had a setback in your recovery. Keep kicking ass in PT and we’ll see you on your feet soon!

@David: Sorry, I just saw your PM. I always forget to check the inbox. We’ll set up a time to go over how to setup the Buttkicker to your sim rig.

@gutterboy- The game room is awesome. Gave me some ideas for when the daughter finally moves out of the basement.

Congrats to Sgeti, SMcinnis and Loban for the overall. Got to see some of the replays and it looked awesome. Wish I could have been with you all, but work is work.

@Aero- Don't be afraid to continue to push yourself. Set backs happen all of the time in life, it's all about how you deal with them that counts. You'll be back sooner then you think.

Sorry to hear about your setback Steve. Keep your chin up, you'll get there. I'm also going through this one day at a time, since I won't be having surgery until January. A frustrating blow to hear how far out my neurosurgeon is booked. He's been great to me for the past ten years, and I'm not confident enough in any other surgeons locally. Besides, if I wanted to seek out another surgeon, by the time I schedule, get in for initial consult, do more tests, then schedule surgery, I'd only be gaining 3-4 weeks at most. So, I'm stuck waiting for the Doc. I'm comfortable with.

It's going to be a fusion, because there's just not enough disc left to cut away from my spinal and sacral nerves (I have disc degeneration disease combined with fall trauma). Fortunately, it's the bottom two vertebrae being fused and disc removed - and it's the least likely procedure to pass future problems to adjacent discs - especially since there's only one disc above and none below.

But the bad news - I'll be sidelined for another half year. I can't even drive my truck more than 15 minutes without getting very uncomfortable - so sitting in my rig and hammering away at the pedals is just out of the question. But I will return - someday. It just might be on the PS5 for Project Cars 3.

Watched an interesting documentary on Amazon Prime tonight. Yellow Yellow Yellow is the tittle. I hope you can watch it Steve - I thought of you while watching. You just may find it a bit inspiring.

Sorry to hear bout your setback Gr8. Sure taking a long time eh. I don't know how I would have managed but hold tight bro.
Thanks David. I miss racing with you guys as much as anything else I've been missing out on. I basically only leave my house for Dr.s appointments and diagnostic tests. I missed out on taking my son to the Detroit Indycar races, haven't gone to any family cook outs or parties, and didn't even go on vacation with my wife and son this summer. Not that I'm whining and trying to host a pity party, I'm just saying that sim-racing has become a huge part of my life. Add in the camaraderie of racing with you gents, and it's a lot to miss. I keep trying to race with a controller, but it SUCKS! I've never been a big video game person until I discovered the ability to drive with a force feedback wheel. It's really kinda all or nothing for me. I just don't enjoy the experience sitting on the couch with a controller in my hands. I do enjoy watching the live streams of the Monday night races. And I love watching Robbie's real life races. In fact, I've watched every bit of racing I can this past summer. Le Mans and Spa 24 hrs, Indy, F1, NASCAR, some IMSA races that were televised, Indy lights, F3, and even a few British Touring Car races. I've had nothing but time. Hopefully all the viewing will translate to cleaner lines, better apexes, and faster lap times when I finally do get back in the saddle. :)
