This is what it looked like shortly after I crossed the line at the end of Race 3. Not sure if there were changes at the bottom between this and when they crossed the finish line.

Sure has been a lot of whining going on the last couple of weeks. When you're just sitting back and listening it is so much more prevalent, if only I had a good editing software! And all this talk about moving up and down, and then moving during a race night, I dunno, Lobasoft needs his whip sharpened up a bit!
So you guys want moving, then moving you will get, I'll update my numbers spreadsheet to see exactly where you fall and a moving you will go! Or we could just kick out all the faster guys and go back to our original plan of one midpack paced group :p
Yup, I'm cranky today, 12 weeks sitting in a hospital room will do that too you :grumpy:

Game sounds....

One thing I noted is that the car engine sound is always in the middle of your head. The rumble strips and other cars and spectators are left or right, but the engine is always in the middle. Why not push the front engine sound forward and the rear engine sounds backwards when you are in cock pit view.

Put your head phones on and listen to this. Shouldn't be difficult to fix this in a game

 
I know I’m going to get a ration of sh... about it, but here you go. The shoes go on sale around the holidays. Fast Track is about $35 and Genesis is about $40-$45 depending on size and color. My heal was killing me after about 2 hours in the sim rig, and regular shoes were too bulky to really feel the (non-loadcell) pedals. Socks helped but got torn up pretty quickly. I guess you could use karting or real race driving shoes, but the cheapest I’ve seen for a decent pair is $100+. I probably wouldn’t have gotten sim racing shoes except that my daughter got them for me as a Christmas present. It’s actually a gift I can use year round on the sim rig, so no real complaints.

I wear wrestling shoes when racing. They have a super thin, very flexible sole. And they breathe very well. Like $40 for a pair of ASICS. One of my secrets... I shouldn't be so sharing since I will return some day. :D

When I turn my virtual head, the sound goes accurately left or right. A friend at work told me a while back about some gadget that makes any dpeaker produce in quad sounds.

Brah, barefoot is da only way to go. Even if you do get beach sand in you rig brah, you feet stay nice an cool - but ya get da blistahs on yah big toe!
I actually had heel pain for a while from wearing crappy shoes in the plane, so yeah, hood shoes help.
I kept my old doing gloves, but got rid of my Bell driving shoes. Too bad because they were thin and comfy.

I believe you made a good executive decision. The whole purpose of moving up or down was to keep competitive.
For weeks I had been driving around on my own. Some of it was the car, (and lack of tune) some of it the track.
Yes David, the devils track. The one night I did have company when the b group started passing me.
But I figured once we got back in historic, things would be different....nope. Ferrari 512... I was pumped.
Race night....pphhhhhhhhttttt... defaflation sets in. After lap 6 I may as well have been on testing mode. Not a car in sight. I had tried tuning but got slower with each change. So for the race I loaded the French set up...de fault!
Just fast enough to stay half a lap ahead of b group.
Mike, after you let me switch... we had a blast!..at least I did.. back with racers my own caliber.
I think the only reason I was able to move up, was not speed, but consistency. Now that A group is no longer spinning off the track... well anyway, that's as fast as I can run. (Not whining, just stating fact)

I'm with GT on this. I always go barefoot and bareback.

....and I don't get blisters on my big toe either. Ha!

Looked like some fun cars to race and I love Mugello, it was tough not being there but I got some great laughs listening to you all, especially good when I can't reply to you all!
It's hit and miss who I can message, as it seems you have to have a setting set to have PS Messages come up on your screen. I can see all the feeds on the thread page except for Mike's, I have to open a new tab and go to you tube and his station, but I'm sure he's got a setting wrong as all the rest of you show a you tube or twitch setting. CB, how come you don't have your's up, or are you doing the same as Mike? Because you both post your feeds the next day on the thread.
@Rednose58 Can you send me the link to the page you were mentioning on Monday about remote watching. Thanks. And congrats for taking the overall victory for the second week in a row!

Brah, barefoot is da only way to go. Even if you do get beach sand in you rig brah, you feet stay nice an cool - but ya get da blistahs on yah big toe!

Still here, still no papers, there’s some “in house despute” or something where I sent my papers too to get back. Absolute joke.

That's funny Jeff because I was just wondering the same thing! I know he flew over to Ireland on Air Transat but that's all I know. Colt's, (@coltsjugg), what is going on? You had to have had a passport to travel there in the first place. So I'm thinking you had forgotten that you had some prior criminal activity that was still on record and something happened when you arrived at customs in Ireland. Have you been in jail this whole time?

He was avoiding jail time in Ireland by fleeing to Canada and they figured it out. He went back and they held him because he's not a Canadian citizen. From what I could decipher.:lol:

I believe @sgohsixthree has the best theory. Colt's mom. I fully follow this theory. Colt's mom was sick and tired of him taking up space in the basement so she canceled his Canadian residency, then convinced him to take a "vacation" in Ireland for a family wedding. Nice set up. She knew he would not be allowed back in the country. Talk about tough love. :cheers::lol::lol:
 
Jail? In another country? Oh God... that's like one of my worst nightmares. I watch those Locked and Abroad shows on Nat. Geo. all the time. It's made me give up on foreign travel altogether. :lol:

Except Canada, of course. I'm from Michigan - we're practically married.

Basically because I’m a permanent resident in Canada, I can’t come back.
My Permanent residence card expired, but my right of landing papers where suppost to be enough to get me back, but that was some misguided information. I remember clearly saying to my mum would I even be allowed back and she assured me aha. So now I need some intense paperwork to get back, which is taking forever. An ETA document doesn’t even allow me back, Irish hitler said anyone can get that with a fake passport. If I wasn’t a resident I would be allowed to go. Riddle me that...
I can fly to America and cross the land border, but then I need some stupid thing to get into America. Canada and America need to tone it down on this freedom sh
I can only stay here for 6 months, if I’m still here in 6 months, what the hell are they going to do lol it’s their frickin fault.
Definately not in jail though. Edit, yet,

My mum and dad just wanted rid of me. My brother and his wife flew into Charlotte during that hurricane, they almost got rid of them too.
