I felt the same... it's very, very weird play GT6 after PCars. If you want to really experience what racing and race cars is, GT has no clue.
 
Hello my name is Spiff2PF (PSN name). I was wondering if there is any openings. I currently only have a Wheel for XB1, but will be getting the T300 servo base for or after Christmas (If my wife did not get it for me). I run clean and I'm OK with a controller. I am currently running in a Wed. night league on the XB1. I am looking for a league on PS4 and this one is intriguing me. I like the fact that you run default set up on. It takes the set up factor out of the race. If there is openig I would appreciate a chance to race. Won't be able to make every Tuesday due to job scheduling, but would definitely try to make as many as I can.

The GT series is like the Forza series. They are simcade games. I haven't played GT6, but I did play GT5. I never played it with a wheel, but with Forza it was designed for the controller with the wheel as an afterthought.

You need PLUS to play anything online with PS4.

SGETI is pretty dang fast in the Mclaren. Add1son and I are really close at Brno. Should be some good racin' tomorrow.
 
Sorry i couldn't Make it kids track and soccer. I should be able to make next Tuesday's race. Tomorrow will be out for me. To much stuff going on before the holidays. Thanks for the invite.

It's the principal. I didn't have to pay for it before so why should I pay now? I can't imagine that getting the PS4 to access online functions costs anymore than the PS3. I would imagine it's probably a lot of the same servers. :grumpy:

I got hit with this realization last year when I was gifted a PS4. And now you've reminded me that I'll have to pay for another year's subscription next week. :rolleyes:

On topic, I'll finally be allowed to open PCars and a G29 in a few days and I've been eyeing this league for a while now. :gtpflag:

Yeah, it's a bummer but what can you do... Keep in mind, at some point in the relatively near future ALL SNAILS will be paying for it. It's just a matter of time brother.
 
I love when people complain about having to pay for PS Plus to play online. They complain about $50 a year but buy games left and right for $60? If this sounds like a rant in anyway I am sorry but I can't stand people who complain about it. Also look at how much better PSN is now that we pay. I find it to run a lot more smoother and a lot less laggy than PS3 so it doesn't bother me. Also if paying $50 a year is an issue to you just get a Jailbroken PS3 and you can get free PS Plus forever. Just set the account you did that on as your main account on the PS4 and it will give PS Plus to all secondary accounts.

  • Effective Today: Qualifying will be either 5 or 10 minutes in length depending on a given combo's approximate lap time. The length will be up to the Race Director's discretion and will be indicated in the Race Schedule when it is posted on Saturdays .
  • The Warmup period shall be discontinued. Since disconnected members may not be re-invited after qualifying begins, this period serves no valuable purpose.
    • Due to the length of the program, this session will not be replaced with a practice session. The length of the entire program shall be monitored. If there is proven extra time available we can revisit the possibility of adding short practice sessions before qualifying, but as of today there will be Qualifying and Race sessions only for each of the four events.
  • The use of a public lobby has been tested and found to be less than ideal for an organized league. All WRC events shall be hosted in Private Lobbies as stated in the OP.
    • Any driver who start qualifying but become disconnected, shall be awarded last place points dependent on quantity of competitors in the race.

Any changes herein shall be updated within the OP in coming days.

One more thing... If/When this series has enough regular active competitors to justify two lobbies, active drivers shall be divided into two divisions. If/When this happens, the weekly combo voting options shall be all or in-part awarded to deserving drivers via a format to be determined. So... tell your clean racing friends to clear their Tuesday evenings. We got racin' to do! :)

Can't make it again tonight. Wife doing last second shopping so I am on kid duty. I work next Tuesday so it looks like I'll see you guys the first week of 2016 :)
 
Guys unfortunately I will not be racing tonight.. Gotta take my mom out for her christmas shopping, Hopefully next Tuesday I will be racing. Merry Christmas everyone :gtpflag:

Sorry I couldn't stick it out. Just can't seem to get a feel for the game as a whole. I guess I've been playing GT too long. Everything just feels disconnected, numb. . . .like I can't really tell what the cars are doing. Very Frustrating....f

Also a new problem is the fact that my headset won't work for chat. Something about Sony not releasing bluetooth drivers. Really?!?! WTF! Since the DS4 is occupied (being used as a workaround for the G27) even if I use the audio cable to connect it to my headset it won't pass along the chat audio. If I turn on the DS4 all hell breaks loose with the wheel.
