I guess people like to track how many miles it has or want a fresh car for max performance. I don't see the big deal, every car gets to it's max some time. The idea of 0 miles is worth more is stupid, and it makes trades harder to do.

I know this thread is already been solved, but just to extend on this for a bit: The main purpose of 0 mile cars is to make them a bit more valuable in the trading world, as they only occur on tickets & in the OCD. They're also valuable because it gives a player the reference of the car being brand new, even though it doesn't really benefit much in performance terms.
